Die Neuerung betrifft eine Liegebox für die Rinder- und Kälber-Tierhaltung.The innovation concerns a lying box for cattle and calf husbandry.

Die bisher bekannten Liegeboxen für Rinder bzw. Kälber weisen jeweils ein Nackenrohr und ein Nasenrohr am Kopfende der Liegebox auf. Nackenrohr und Nasenrohr sind sowohl längen- als auch höhenverstellbar an den Seiten-wandrohren befestigt. Damit läßt sich eine Einstellung auf unterschiedliche Tiergrößen (Nackenhöhe und Tierlänge) in begrenztem Umfang erreichen; eine Einstellung auf kleinere Tiere, insbesondere Kälber, ist damit aber nicht möglich.The previously known cubicles for cattle and calves each have a neck tube and a nose tube at the head end of the cubicle. Bei Liegeboxen der gattungsgemäßen Art wird das Tier durch entsprechende Einstellung der Position des Nackenrohres gezwungen, beim Aufstehen nach rückwärts zu treten, damit der Nacken bzw. Kopf aus dem Einflußbereich des Nackenrohres heraustreten kann.
