Die verfahrensgemäss zu verwendenden Arylentetrazoamide
werden nach bekannten Verfahren durch Kupplung eines
Arylentetrazoniumsalzes mit einem primären oder vorzugsweise mit einem sekundären Amin erhalten. Für diesen Zweck eignen

sich die verschiedensten Amine, beispielsweise aliphatische Amine, wie Methylamin, Aethylamin, Aethanolamin, Propylamine
Iso-propylamin, Butylamin, Hexylamin und insbesondere Dimethylamin,
Diäthylamin, Methyläthanolamin, Dipropylamin, Diisopropylamin oder DibutyLamin, Aminoessigsäure, N-Methylaminoessigsäure,
Butylaminoessigsäure, Aminoäthansulfonsäure, N-Methyl-aminoäthansulfonsäure, Guanyläthansulfonsäure, ß-Amino·
äthylschwefelsäure, alicyclische Amine, wie Cyclohexylamin, N-Methyl-cyclohexylamin, Dicyclohexylamin, aromatische
Amine, wie 4-Aminobenzoesäure, SuIfanilsäure, 4-Sulfo-2-aminobenzoesäure,
4-Sulfophenylguanldin, 4-N-Methylaminobenzoesäure,
4-N-Aethylaminobenzoesäure, 1-Amino-naphthalin-4-sulfonsäure,
l-Aminonaphthalin-2,4-disulfonsäure, heterocyclische Amine, wie Piperidin, Morpholin, Pyrrolidin, Dihydroindol
und schliesslich auch Natriumcyanamid oder Dicyandiamid.
In der Regel sind die erhaltenen Tetrazoamidoverbindungen in -kaltem Wasser schwer löslich und können
gegebenenfalls durch Aussalzen in kristalliner Form aus den Reaktionsmedien abgetrennt werden. In vielen Fällen können
die feuchten Presskuchen, wie sie bei der Herstellung anfallen, für die weitere Umsetzung verwendet werden. In einzelnen
Fällen kann es sich als vorteilhaft erweisen, die Diazoamide vorgängig der Umsetzung durch Vakuumtrocknung
zu entwässern oder nach Aufschlämmung in einem organischen Lösungsmittel das Wasser durch azeotrope Destillation zu

entfernen.

Die Kupplung der Tetrazoaraidoverbindung mit dem
Naphthol erfolgt zweckmässig in einem organischen Lösungsmittel,
beispielsweise in Chlorbenzol, o-Dichlorbenzol, Nitrobenzol, Pyridin, Chinoiin, Aethylenglykol, Aethylenglykolmonomethyl-
oder -monoäthyläther, Dimethylformamid, N-Methylpyrrolidon, Ameisensäure oder Essigsäure.
Im allgemeinen ist es nicht nötig, die Tetrazoamidoverbindungen in wasserfreier Form zu verwenden. Es können
beispielsweise die wasserfeuchten Nutschkuchen verwendet werden. Die der Kupplung vorangehende Spaltung der Diazoaminoverbindung
erfolgt vorzugsweise in saurem Medium. Verwendet man neutrale Lösungsmittel, so kann die Zugabe
einer Säure, wie beispielsweise Chlorwasserstoff, Schwefelsäure, Ameisensäure oder Essigsäure, von Vorteil sein.

Die Kupplung wird zweckmässig in der Wärme, vorzugsweise bei Temperaturen zwischen 60 bis l80 C vdurchgeführt
und verläuft im allgemeinen rasch und vollständig.
Dank ihrer Unlöslichkeit können die erhaltenen Pigmente aus dem Reaktionsgemisch durch Abfiltrieren
isoliert werden. Da die Nebenprodukte in Lösung bleiben, fallen die erhaltenen Pigmente in hervorragender Reinheit an.
Eine Nachbehandlung mit organischen Lösungsmitteln, wie dies bei Pigmenten, die nach dem wässerigen Kupplungsverfahren "
erhalten werden, erforderlich ist, wird hier in den meisten Fällen überflüssig. Ein weiterer Vorteil des erfindungsgemässen
Verfahrens ist die hohe Ausbeute, die pigmenttechnisch günstige Form und die Konstanz der färberischen
Eigenschaften der erhaltenen Pigmente.
Die verfahrensgemäss erhältlichen Pigmente können dank Ihrer günstigen Eigenschaften für die verschiedensten
Pigmentapplikationen verwendet werden, z.B. in feinverteilter
Form zum Färben von Kunstseide und Viskose oder Celluloseäthern und -estern oder von Superpolyamiden bzw. Superpolyurethanen
oder Polyestern in der Spinnmasse, sowie zur Herstellung von gefärbten Lacken oder Lackbildnern, Lösungen
oder Produkten aus Aeetylcellulose, Nitrocellulose, natürlichen Harzen oder Kunstharzen, wie Polymerisationsharzen oder
Kondensationsharzen, z.B. Aminoplasten, Alkydharzen, Phenoplasten, Polyolefinen, wie Polystyrol, Polyvinylchlorid,

Polyäthylen, Polypropylen, Polyacrylnitril, Gummi, Casein
Silikon und Silikonharzen. Ausserdem lassen sie sich vorteilhaft bei der Herstellung von Farbstiften, kosmetischen
Präparaten oder Laminierplatten verwenden.
In den nachfolgenden Beispielen bedeuten die Teile, sofern nichts anderes angegeben wird, Gewichtsteile, die
Prozente Gewichtsprozente, und die Temperaturen sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.

Beispiel 1.
4,4 Teile der Tetrazoamidoverbindung der Formel

erhalten durch alkalische Kupplung von 1 Mol tetrazotiertem 4,4f-Diamlno-3,3'-dimethoxydiphenyl auf 2 Mol Morpholin, "
werden mit 9,2 Teilen 2,3-Hydroxynaphthoesäure-2',5'-dichlor-4l-benzoylaminoanilid
in 250 Teilen Nitrobenzol verrührt und 2 Teile Essigsäure 100# zugegeben. Dann erwärmt
man 2 Stunden auf I30 bis 135°. Der gebildete blaue Pigmentfarbstoff
wird heiss genutscht, mit heissem o-Dichlorbenzol gewaschen, bis das Filtrat farblos abläuft und dann mit kaltem
Methanol oder ausgewaschen. Zum Schluss
wäscht man mit heissem Wasser, saugt gut ab und trocknet bei
auf diese Weise/ i
90 bis 100 im Vakuum.Man erhält/10,8 Teile des Pigmentes

was einer Ausbeute von 92*4 % der Theorie entspricht.
Dieser Farbstoff färbt Kunststoffe, wie Polyvinylchlorid, und Lacke in marineblauen Tönen von ausgezeichneter
Migrations- und Ueberlaclcierechtheit.
In der nachfolgenden Tabelle ist eine Reihe weiterer Farbstoffe aufgeführt, die man erhält, wenn man
aus den Tetrazoverbindungen der in Kolonne I genannten Diamine und aus den in Kolonne II erwähnten sekundären
Aminen die Tetrazoamidoverbindungen herstellt und letztere mit den in Kolonne III genannten Naphtholen im Molverhältnis
1:2. nach den Angaben dieses Beispiels kuppelt. In Kolonne IV ist der Farbton der mit den Pigmenten hergestellten
Polyvinylchloridfolien angegeben.

- ■νPatentansprüche.1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Disazofarbstoffe pigmenten der Formel.a -X-A0 N-NI . ^ l I OHT> / B.1N)ONH-R2-Y 1worin A,, A und R Arylenreste, R1 einen Naphthalinrest i bedeuten, in welchem sich die Azo-, Hydroxy- und Carbonsäur eamidgruppe in 1,2,3-Stellung befinden, X eine direkte Bindung oder eine Brücke und Y eine Gruppe der Formel -NHCOR-, oder -CONHR2, bedeuten, worin R, ein Wasserstoffatom, eine Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkoxy-, Amino-, Alkylamino- oder Aryl ami nogruppe und R2, ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Arylgruppe bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Tetrazoamidoverbindung eines Arylendiamins der Formel< H2N-A1-X-A2-NH2mit einem Naphthol der FormelOH"1NlONH-R2-Y
im Molverhältnis 1:2 kuppelt.2. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man von einer Tetrazoamidoverbindung der Formel109833/1 r 4 717130692frausgeht, worin A1, A und X die angegebene Bedeutung haben, R1. und Rg Alkylreste bedeuten, wobei R1. und R^ auch zusammen mit dem Stickstoffatom einen heterocyclischen Ring bilden können.3. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man von Tetrazoamidoverbindungen der Formel5 I1 Ii R1-Z2ausgeht, worin R_ und R^ die angegebene Bedeutung haben, Z, und Z- Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatome, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppen bedeuten.4.
