Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Anordnung zur Variation einer Bildwiederholfrequenz von aus Bildpunkten und Zeilen bestehenden und auf einem Grafikbildschirm ausgebbaren Videobildern. Das zur Ansteuerung der einzelnen Bildpunkte erforderliche Pixeltaktsignal weist erfindungsgemäß während der Ansteuerung der sichtbaren Bildpunkte eine erste Frequenz auf und wird während einer nichtsichtbaren Phase der Ansteuerung, also während eines Zeilen- und/oder Bildrücklaufs, auf eine zweite Frequenz umgeschaltet. Je nach Dauer der Umschaltung auf die zweite Frequenz kann die entstehende Bildwiederholfrequenz variiert werden.
