Abstract
Ένα οπτικό μέσον εγγραφής δεδομένων σε σχήμα δίσκου έχει στρώση εγγραφής σήματος για την ανάγνωση και/ή εγγραφή δεδομένων με χρήση φωτός και διαφανή, προστατευτική στρώση πάχους 10 μm έως 200 μm τοποθετούμενη επί της στρώσης εγγραφής σήματος. Το οπτικό μέσον εγγραφής δεδομένων περιέχει προεξοχή που προβάλλει από την επιφάνεια της διαφανούς, προστατευτικής στρώσης στην πλευρά πρόσπτωσης του φωτός, προς την οποία εκπέμπεται φως προς τη στρώση εγγραφής σήματος. Η προεξοχή τοποθετείται σε περιοχή μεταξύ κεντρικής οπής και περιοχής πάκτωσης, όπου το οπτικό μέσον εγγραφής δεδομένων συγκρατείται κατά την ανάγνωση και/ή εγγραφή δεδομένων στη στρώση εγγραφής σήματος.
