本发明涉及从废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢的方法。更具体地,本发明提供一种用于热分解在废酸洗液中存在的过氧化氢的方法,其中所述废酸洗液由钢的酸洗过程产生。
                         背景
当过氧化氢用作酸性酸洗液溶液中的组分时,一些未反应的过氧化氢保留在废酸洗液的废物流中。这种废酸洗液通常在处理前被中和。未反应的过氧化氢可能存在于淋洗水中和废酸洗液溶液中。当相当大量的未反应过氧化氢存在于废酸洗液中时,酸的中和步骤可能存在问题。因此希望从废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢。
从废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢的常规方法包括加入与酸洗液中存在的过氧化氢进行化学反应从而消耗过氧化氢的反应物。通常向废酸洗液中加入亚硫酸氢钠、硫酸亚铁或金属铁来分解在溶液中存在的所有过氧化氢并形成水和氧。应用亚硫酸氢钠是昂贵的。而应用硫酸亚铁或金属铁会造成中和步骤的固体淤渣废物体积增加。
本发明提供一种经济上可行的用于在酸中和步骤之前从废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢的方法。
                       发明概述
本发明提供一种从用于钢条酸洗过程的废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢的装置和方法。
通常,所述装置包括一个罐,所述罐配有入口、出口、至少一个通气口、热源和内部挡板。所述罐有足够的容量从而容纳酸洗过程产生的大量酸洗液溶液,其中酸洗液在罐中的停留时间为约30分钟至约60分钟,并且优选为约45分钟。热源可以为本领域熟练技术人员已知的任何类型,例如蒸汽注入或至少一个浸没式加热器。
通常,所述方法包括使废酸洗液通过入口流入一个封闭并通气的分解罐中。所述罐有足够的容量从而容纳酸洗过程所产生的大量溶液。然后废酸洗液被加热至至少约65℃,并在至少约65℃的温度下在分解罐中保持约30分钟至约60分钟。在另一种实施方案中,将酸洗液加热至至少76℃。一旦加热合适的时间量后,则使加热后的酸洗液通过出口由罐内流出。
通常,加热后的酸洗液按照其流入分解罐时大约相同的流量流出分解罐,从而使酸洗液的停留时间足以分解分解罐中的过氧化氢,通常为约45分钟。所述分解罐还包括至少一个通气口和内部挡板。可以应用本领域已知的任何加热方法,常用的热源包括蒸汽加热或至少一个浸没式加热器。在给定分解罐上述参数的情况下,改变罐的温度、酸洗液溶液的流量以及酸洗液在分解罐中的停留时间从而有效分解过氧化氢,这对本领域熟练技术人员来说是显而易见的。

                       发明描述
设计本发明用于在酸中和步骤之前按照如下反应通过热分解过氧化氢形成水和氧从而使废酸洗液中过氧化氢的浓度最小:
本发明包括一个封闭式的分解罐,如图1所示。该分解罐包括酸洗液入口、出口、至少一个通气口、内部挡板和热源。罐的体积应使废酸洗液流过罐所需的停留时间最短,并使过氧化氢完全分解。热源必须能够加热废酸洗液至最低的规定温度。内部挡板的作用是引导流体流动、产生混合、并确保废酸洗液符合最短的停留时间要求。废酸洗液以不超过分解罐加热能力的流量被输送入分解罐中,并以与此匹配的流量被输送出所述罐。由于过氧化氢热分解产生氧气,因此为了从罐内泄放压力,必须有至少一个通气口。
设计分解罐的体积,从而使液体的停留时间足以分解过氧化氢,所述停留时间优选为约30分钟至约60分钟,更优选为约45分钟。一旦在罐中大部分或全部废酸洗液均被加热至温度为至少约65℃,并优选为76℃以上,则在这段时间内过氧化氢分解形成水和氧。所述热源可以为本领域已知的任何加热方法,例如蒸汽注入或浸没式加热器。
                       实施例
为了收集废酸洗液物流,在钢的酸洗流程(line)上安装过氧化氢分解罐。流出酸洗罐并进入分解罐的废酸洗液的流量高达20加仑每分钟。来自酸洗罐的废物流(废酸洗液)与来自酸洗流程的酸性淋洗水混合,从而致使总流量高达40加仑每分钟。所述分解罐具有约2000加仑的容量。在给定流量和罐容量的情况下,废溶液的最低的水力学停留时间为约45分钟。然后利用蒸汽注入方法将罐加热至76℃。下表给出了在酸洗操作过程中进入和离开分解罐的过氧化氢的浓度。

Claims (14)

1.一种由用于酸洗过程的废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢的方法,包括如下步骤:
a.使废酸洗液流入封闭式并通气的罐中,其中所述罐具有足够的容量从而能够容纳由所述酸洗过程产生的大量溶液;
b.加热所述酸洗液至引起过氧化氢分解的温度;
c.使所述酸洗液在所述温度下在所述罐中保持约30分钟至约60分钟;
d.使所述加热后的酸洗液流出所述罐。
2.权利要求1的方法,其中所述罐包括酸洗液入口、酸洗液出口、至少一个通气口、热源和内部挡板。
3.权利要求2的方法,其中用于加热酸洗液的热源为蒸汽加热。
4.权利要求2的方法,其中用于加热酸洗液的热源为至少一个浸没式加热器。
5.权利要求3的方法,其中使所述酸洗液按照与其流入所述罐时大约相同的流量流出所述罐。
6.权利要求5的方法,其中所述酸洗液在所述罐中的停留时间为约45分钟。
7.权利要求1的方法,其中所述酸洗液被加热至至少约65℃。
8.权利要求1的方法,其中所述酸洗液被加热至至少76℃。
9.一种用于从用于酸洗过程的废酸洗液中脱除过氧化氢的装置,所述装置包括一个罐,所述罐配有入口、出口、至少一个通气口、热源和内部挡板。
10.权利要求9的装置,其中所述罐具有足够的容量从而能够容纳由酸洗过程产生的大量酸洗液溶液。
11.权利要求10的装置,其中所述罐的尺寸和构造应使酸洗液在所述罐中的停留时间为约30分钟至约60分钟。
12.权利要求11的装置,其中所述罐的尺寸和构造应使酸洗液在所述罐中的停留时间为约45分钟。
13.权利要求10的装置,其中所述罐的热源为蒸汽注入。
14.权利要求10的装置,其中所述罐的热源为至少一个浸没式加热器。
