The protection piece 1 and the common presser foot existing at present on the embroidery machine can synchronously work or reversely work, the setting can be changed according to different environments, if the protection piece works in the same direction, the protection piece and the common presser foot simultaneously or the protection piece moves downwards before the common presser foot, the protection piece can protect the common presser foot, and the cloth pressing effect on the peripheral range of embroidery is increased when the embroidery is performed, so that the embroidery is smoother (suitable for the case that the small-stitch fabric is not thick); if the protective piece works reversely, the movement direction of the protective piece is opposite to that of the common presser foot, the common presser foot is lifted, the protective piece moves downwards to the lower part of the common presser foot, the tabouret moves at the moment to drive the fabric to the next embroidery point, and the protective piece acts on the fabric to enable the fluffy fabric to be flattened in advance during high-speed embroidery (suitable for large needle pitch and thicker fabric).
