Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Einbau-Spülbecken aus Metall, insbesondere aus Chromstahl, zum Einsetzen in eine Tischplatte, z. B. aus Holz, Stein oder einem anderen Material.
Die konventionellen Chromstahl-Spülbecken sind bekanntlich fast durchwegs von quadratischem bzw. rechteckförmigem Querschnitt und mit Tropfbrettern kombiniert, welche als Rüsttische und zur Aufnahme des gespülten Geschirrs dienen und meist eine leicht wellige bzw. geriefte Oberfläche haben.
Die Kombination von Spültrog und Tropfbrett hat sich insofern nicht bewährt, als die flachen Tropfbretter meistens keinen eigenen Ablauf haben und das vom Tropfbrett abfliessende Wasser den Weg durch den Spültrog nehmen muss, in welchem sich aber häufig Nahrungsmittel, beispielsweise gerüstetes oder zu rüstendes Gemüse, befinden. Auch sind die bekannten Tropfbretter zum Rüsten von Gemüse etc. sehr unpraktisch, da sie einerseits geneigt sind und andererseits deren Riefung keine stabile Unterlage für ein Rüstbrett aus Holz bietet.
Die praktische und zeitsparende Kombination der Arbeitsgänge Spülen, Abtropfen und Rüsten ist aber für die Hausfrau von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung.
Das den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildende Einbau-Spülbecken behebt diese Nachteile und ist erfindungsgemäss gekennzeichnet durch eine ovale Einbaumulde, welche mindestens einen Spültrog von kreisförmigem Querschnitt aufweist, in welchen ein Abtropfkorb einsetzbar ist, der dem Querschnitt des Spültroges entspricht und dessen Höhe so bemessen ist, dass auf den oberen Rand des Spültroges bei eingesetztem Abtropfkorb ein Rüstbrett von ebenfalls kreisförmigem Querschnitt aufsetzbar ist.
Dieses Einbau-Spülbecken gestattet dank seiner ovalen Kontur einen einwandfrei dichtenden Einbau in der Tischplatte und ist, in seinen verschiedenen Ausführungsformen, sehr vielseitig verwendbar. Die mannigfaltigen Vorteile und technischen Einzelheiten des neuen Einbau-Spülbeckens wer den nachstehend anhand der beiliegenden Zeichnung beschrie ben, welche drei Ausführungsbeispiele veranschaulicht.

Die erste Ausführungsform des Einbau-Spülbeckens, welche in den Fig. 1 und 2 schematisch dargestellt ist, weist eine ovale
Chromstahl-Einbaumulde 1 auf, die mit zwei Spültrögen 2 und
3 ausgestattet ist. Die beiden Spültröge besitzen kreisförmigen
Querschnitt und bilden mit der Einbaumulde, mit welcher sie verschweisst sind, ein einziges Einbauteil. An ihrem peripheri schen Rand ist die Einbaumulde 1 mit einem überstehenden
Montageflansch 4 versehen, mit welchem sie sich auf die
Randpartie der Montageöffnung einer nicht dargestellten
Tischplatte abstützt.
Bei dieser ovalen Form der Einbaumulde werden die schwer befestigbaren Eckpartien, deren eine in Fig. 2 gestrichelt dar gestellt und mit 5 bezeichnet ist, vermieden; der Montageflansch 4 liegt nicht nur in seinem gradlinigen Bereich, sondern auch im Umfangsbereich der beiden Spültröge fest und gleichmässig auf der Tischplatte auf. Dies wird unter anderem auch dadurch gewährleistet, dass der Montageflansch 4 im gesamten Krümmungsbereich von dem angrenzenden Spültrog einen gleichmässigen und relativ geringen Abstand besitzt.
Jeder Spültrog ist mit einer verschliessbaren Ablauföffnung 2a bzw. 3a versehen. Die beiden Spültröge 7 und 3 sind durch einen Verbindungssteg 6 miteinander verbunden, auf welchem sich eine Spültischbatterie 7 sowie ein Restenausguss 8 befindet. Die letzteren Zubehörteile werden als an sich bekannt angesehen, so dass auf deren Beschreibung verzichtet wird.
Wie Fig. 1 zeigt, sind die beiden Ablauföffnungen 2a und 3a sowie der Restenausguss 8 durch Verbindungsrohre 9a, 10a und 1 1a zusammengefasst und an eine gemeinsame, nicht sichtbare Abflussleitung angeschlossen.
Die Fig. 3a und 3b veranschaulichen einen in seiner Gesamtheit mit 9 bezeichneten Korb, der als Geschirrkorb, Abtropfkorb sowie Salat- und Gemüsekorb Verwendung finden kann und dessen Abmessungen so gewählt sind, dass er sich ohne weiteres in die Spültröge 7 und 3 einsetzen lässt. Die Höhe des Korbes 9 ist ferner so gewählt, dass der Spültrog nach dem Einsetzen des Korbes mit einem Holzbrett 10 (Fig. 4a, 4b) überdeckt werden kann.
Der in einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform aus kunststoff überzogenen Metallstäben bestehende Korb 9 lässt sich im Zusammenhang mit dem beschriebenen Einbauspülbecken in mannigfaltiger weise verwenden. So ist es z. B. möglich, das in einem Spültrog gespülte Geschirr anschliessend zum Nachspülen und Abtropfen in den Korb 9 zu stellen, der im zweiten Spültrog bereitstehen kann. Auch kann das Spülen des Geschirrs bereits innerhalb des Korbes erfolgen, worauf der Korb mit dem gespülten Geschirr von einem Trog in den anderen umgesetzt wird. Auf das konventionelle, schwer zu reinigende Tropfbrett kann somit verzichtet werden.
Damit sind die Verwendungsmöglichkeiten des Korbes 9 selbstverständlich noch lange nicht erschöpft. Es liegt auf der Hand, dass der Korb ferner auch zum Waschen von Gemüse.
Obst etc. verwendet wird. Auch ist es ein von den Hausfrauen sehr geschätzter Vorteil dieses Korbes. dass er sich im Spültrog, z. B. mit schmutzigem Geschirr gefüllt, versenkt anordnen und mittels des Rüstbrettes 10 verdecken lässt. Der Anblick des schmutzigen Geschirrs wird somit den kritischen Blicken der zum Nachmittagskaffee eingeladenen Nachbarin entzogen.
Wie sich aus Fig. 3b ergibt, besteht der Boden 11 des Korbes 9 aus parallelen Stäben 12, deren gegenseitiger Abstand so gewählt ist, dass sich auf dem Korbboden Teller in aufrechter Lage abstellen lassen.
Das Rüstbrett 10 besteht vorzugsweise aus Holz und weist an einer Stelle eine Einbuchtung 13 auf, deren Zweck sich im Zusammenhang mit der Ausführungsform gemäss den Fig. 5 und 6 ergibt.
Auch die Variante gemäss Fig. 5 und 6 zeigt eine ovale Einbaumulde 14, in welcher in diesem Fall jedoch nur ein Spültrog 15 angeordnet ist. Im Gegensatz zu der bereits beschriebenen Ausführungsform ist hier anstelle des zweiten Spültroges eine Tropfschale 16 eingebaut. welche ebenfalls mit einer eigenen Abflussöffnung 17 versehen ist und deren gesamte Einbauhöhe die Dicke der verwendeten Tischplatte nicht übersteigt. Dieses Mass, das selbstverständlich innerhalb weiter Grenzen variieren kann, beträgt bei einer speziellen Ausführungsform 30 cm.
Auch hier ist auf dem den Spültrog 15 mit der Tropfschale 16 verbindenden Steg 17a eine Spültischbatterie 18 und ein Restenausguss 19 angeordnet. Ferner weist die Einbaumulde 14 auch in diesem Falle einen peripherischen Befestigungsflansch 20 auf.
Die Tropfschale 16 kann beispielsweise zur Aufnahme des Korbes 9 dienen, der nach dem Spülen des Geschirrs aus dem
Spültrog 15 herausgenommen und auf der Tropfschale abge stellt werden kann. Ferner bildet die Tropfschale 16 eine
Auflage für das Rüstbrett 10, dessen Aussparung 13 die
Abflussöffnung 17 der Tropfschale freilässt. Das vom gespül ten Geschirr bzw. vom gewaschenen Gemüse herabtropfende
Wasser kann durch die Oeffnung 17 ablaufen, unabhängig davon, ob der Spültrog 15 gefüllt oder bereits geputzt ist. Ein beachtlicher Vorteil der Tropfschale 16 liegt darin, dass sich diese viel leichter reinigen lässt, als die bekannten Tropfbretter.
Dank der geringen Einbautiefe der Tropfschale 16 kann unterhalb derselben noch ein anderes Haushaltgerät (Geschirrwaschmaschine, Kühlschrank etc.) bzw. ein Schubladenblock oder ein Mülleimer Platz finden.
Eine kleinere Variante ist in den Fig. 7 und 8 dargestellt.
Auch hier ist wiederum eine ovale Einbaumulde 21 mit einem
Montageflansch 22 vorgesehen. Die Einbaumulde umfasst in diesem Falle jedoch lediglich einen Spültrog 23 sowie eine
Spültischbatterie 24, einen Restenausguss 25 und, als Neuheit gegenüber den bekannten Spültischen dieser Art, eine mulden förmige, mit leichter Prägung versehene Seifenschale 26. Auch zu dieser Ausführungsform passt sowohl der Korb 9 als auch das Rüstbrett 10.
Bei allen beschriebenen Ausführungsformen besteht die
Einbaumulde einschliesslich der Spültröge vorzugsweise aus
Chromstahl. Der Geschirr- und Salatkorb kann aus verzinktem und weiss plastifiziertem Stahldraht hergestellt sein. Die Ver wendung anderer Materialien bleibt selbstverständlich vorbe halten.
The present invention relates to a built-in sink made of metal, in particular made of chrome steel, for insertion in a table top, e.g. B. made of wood, stone or another material.
It is well known that conventional chrome steel sinks are almost entirely square or rectangular in cross-section and combined with drip boards, which serve as preparation tables and to accommodate the washed dishes and usually have a slightly wavy or grooved surface.
The combination of sink trough and drip board has not proven itself insofar as the flat drip boards usually have no drain of their own and the water draining from the drip board has to take the way through the sink, in which, however, there is often food, for example prepared or prepared vegetables . The known drip boards for setting up vegetables etc. are also very impractical, since they are inclined on the one hand and their grooves on the other hand do not provide a stable base for a wooden preparation board.
The practical and time-saving combination of washing, draining and setting up is of crucial importance for housewives.
The built-in sink forming the subject of the present invention eliminates these disadvantages and is characterized according to the invention by an oval built-in recess which has at least one sink trough of circular cross-section, in which a draining basket can be inserted which corresponds to the cross-section of the sink trough and whose height is so dimensioned that on the upper edge of the sink when the draining basket is inserted, a preparation board with a circular cross-section can also be placed.
Thanks to its oval contour, this built-in sink allows a perfectly sealed installation in the tabletop and, in its various designs, is very versatile. The many advantages and technical details of the new built-in sink who ben described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, which illustrates three exemplary embodiments.

In this oval shape of the recess, the difficult to attach corner parts, one of which is shown in dashed lines in Figure 2 and denoted by 5, avoided; the mounting flange 4 rests firmly and evenly on the table top not only in its straight area, but also in the circumferential area of the two rinsing troughs. Among other things, this is also ensured by the fact that the mounting flange 4 is at a uniform and relatively small distance from the adjacent sink tub in the entire area of curvature.
Each sink trough is provided with a closable drain opening 2a or 3a. The two washing troughs 7 and 3 are connected to one another by a connecting web 6, on which a sink mixer 7 and a leftover spout 8 are located. The latter accessories are considered to be known per se, so that their description is omitted.
As FIG. 1 shows, the two drainage openings 2a and 3a and the residual spout 8 are combined by connecting pipes 9a, 10a and 11a and connected to a common drainage line, which is not visible.
3a and 3b illustrate a basket designated in its entirety by 9, which can be used as a crockery basket, draining basket, salad and vegetable basket and whose dimensions are chosen so that it can be easily inserted into the washing troughs 7 and 3. The height of the basket 9 is also selected so that the sink can be covered with a wooden board 10 (Fig. 4a, 4b) after the basket has been inserted.
The basket 9, which in a preferred embodiment consists of plastic-coated metal rods, can be used in various ways in connection with the built-in sink described. So it is e.g. B. possible to then put the dishes washed in a sink for rinsing and draining in the basket 9, which can be available in the second sink. The dishes can also be washed within the basket, whereupon the basket with the washed dishes is transferred from one trough to the other. The conventional, difficult-to-clean drip tray can thus be dispensed with.
The possible uses of the basket 9 are of course not exhausted by this. It is obvious that the basket can also be used for washing vegetables.
Fruit etc. is used. It is also an advantage of this basket that is very much appreciated by housewives. that he is in the sink, z. B. filled with dirty dishes, sunk and can be covered by means of the board 10. The sight of the dirty dishes is thus withdrawn from the critical glances of the neighbor invited for afternoon coffee.
As can be seen from FIG. 3b, the bottom 11 of the basket 9 consists of parallel rods 12, the mutual spacing of which is selected so that plates can be placed on the basket bottom in an upright position.
The scaffolding board 10 is preferably made of wood and has an indentation 13 at one point, the purpose of which arises in connection with the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6.
The variant according to FIGS. 5 and 6 also shows an oval recess 14, in which, however, only one sink 15 is arranged in this case. In contrast to the embodiment already described, a drip tray 16 is installed here instead of the second washing trough. which is also provided with its own drainage opening 17 and whose total installation height does not exceed the thickness of the table top used. This dimension, which can of course vary within wide limits, is 30 cm in a special embodiment.
Here, too, a sink mixer 18 and a waste spout 19 are arranged on the web 17a connecting the sink trough 15 to the drip tray 16. Furthermore, the installation recess 14 also has a peripheral fastening flange 20 in this case.

Water can run off through the opening 17, regardless of whether the sink 15 is filled or already cleaned. A significant advantage of the drip tray 16 is that it is much easier to clean than the known drip boards.
Thanks to the small installation depth of the drip tray 16, another household appliance (dishwasher, refrigerator, etc.) or a drawer block or a rubbish bin can be placed underneath it.
A smaller variant is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8.
Again, there is an oval recess 21 with a

Sink mixer 24, a waste spout 25 and, as a novelty compared to the known sink units of this type, a trough-shaped, slightly embossed soap dish 26. Both the basket 9 and the preparation board 10 also fit in this embodiment.
In all of the described embodiments, the

Chrome steel. The crockery and salad basket can be made of galvanized and white plasticized steel wire. The use of other materials is of course reserved.
