Em um processo para preparar extrudados de espinélio pela extrusão de composições de moldagem compreendendo pó de espinélio com ou sem auxiliares de extrusão, estabilizadores, redutores de encolhimento, formadores de poro ou misturas dos mesmos, subsequente secagem e calcinação dos extrudados, a composição de moldagem compreendendo adicionalmente óxidos de alumínio ou hidratos de óxido de alumínio e nitratos de metal.
