Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO DE PROTEçãO PARA OCUPANTE NA LATERAL DO MOTORISTA DE UM VEìCULO AUTOMOTIVO"<D>. Em um dispositivo de proteção para o assento do motorista de um veículo automotivo, o eixo de direção se encontra arranjado em um tubo envoltório e o volante de direção é preferencialmente provido de um airbag. O eixo de direção (1, 28) é móvel na direção de seu eixo longitudinal e pelo menos um elemento de absorção de energia (11, 12; 31, 32, 33) se encontra associado ao eixo de direção. A vantagem do deslizamento do eixo de direção consiste em que a totalidade do sistema, incluindo estruturas complementares adicionais seguras ao mesmo, é movida para longe do ocupante em caso de colisão. Dependendo da intensidade do impacto, de encontro ao ocupante, é absorvida mais ou menos energia.
