(zênite) e em ?=180? (nadir) estejam formados cilindricamente com base circular e em ?=90 e ?=270? (equador), de modo oval, com um volume de retenção de óleo, sendo que uma transição entre o equador e o zênite ou entre o equador e o nadir estende-se continuamente e de modo diferenciável, isto é, sem cantos. desse modo, pode ser produzido um pistão (1) de modo eficiente em custos, com boa capacidade de carga e bem lubrificado.
