F1aschenverschIuss.

Bottle closure.
In the case of the previously known bottle closures with rubber stoppers compressible by screw and nut or the like, there is the disadvantage that they often do not seal adequately because the seal was mainly only in the center of the sealing cylinder. According to the invention, this inconvenience is effectively avoided in such closures by a convex cover plate in combination with two pressure rings, since the seal then comes about on a larger part of the sealing cylinder, and an absolutely firm and safe pressing of the rubber stopper in the bottle neck is achieved. In order to be able to use this closure as generally as possible, it is produced with a screw or eccentric closure and it can also be designed with a pouring spout.
In the accompanying drawing, the closure is shown loose in FIG. 1 and tightened with the wing nut in FIG. 2. In Fig. 3 the same is shown as a closure with an eccentric in the loose state and in Fig. 4 in the tensioned state. Fig. 5 shows the embodiment of the closure with a spout in longitudinal section, as well as a cross section of the pipe along the line a-a.

pressed together by means of the convex cover plate 3 and the press rings 4 and 4 ′ located at both ends of the rubber stopper 5 and fixed securely and tightly in the bottle neck. As already mentioned, the arrangement of the convex cover plate with the two pressure rings creates a seal on a larger part of the sealing cylinder of the stopper than without this device.
The embodiment with pouring spout shown in FIG. 5 has two tubes 7 and 8 which are pushed intimately one inside the other, of which the tube 8 has a longitudinal groove pressed in, whereby two parallel channels are formed. The larger channel 9 is used for the liquid outlet, the smaller channel 10 is used for the air inlet, the two tubes are beveled at the ends. The convex disc has a larger hole than usual, as this is intended for the passage of the pipe. With 12 the cap for closing the pipe is designated.
