Rohr mit Putzöffnung und Verschlussdeckel
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Verschlussdeckels erfolgt.

EMI2.3
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Pipe with cleaning opening and cover
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Closing cover takes place.
In particular in the case of a pipe made of plastic, which is subject to a certain deformation when internal pressure occurs, the rim of the closure cover, which is also provided with the vulcanized sealing coating and which surrounds a neck of the cleaning opening, offers great advantages. When pressure occurs in the pipeline, the neck of the cleaning opening is pressed against the edge of the closure cover, which is also provided with the sealing lining, so that the seal is improved. At the same time, this board prevents excessive deformation of the neck of the cleaning opening when a high internal pressure occurs, which under certain circumstances could lead to the pipe breaking in the area of the cleaning opening.
It is known per se to firmly connect sealing linings to a cover. For example, it has been proposed to apply gaskets made from gelled pastes of polyvinyl chloride, plasticizers, and non-volatile diluents to lids. However, these are crown corks or lids of canning jars. However, such measures have not been proposed for sealing covers for cleaning openings.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the sealing coating continues in the area of the opening of the closure cover into an annular sealing lip which surrounds the bolt and which rests closely on the bolt over a large area. In the event of an increase in pressure inside the pipe, the sealing lip is pressed against the bolt to a greater extent, so that with this arrangement a reliable seal is ensured even when very high pressures occur.
Particularly in the case of a pipe made of plastic, according to a further feature of the invention, the clamping ball can be provided at both ends with supports which are curved according to the pipe wall and whose radius of curvature is preferably smaller than half the inner diameter of the pipe. In such an embodiment, when a high internal pressure occurs, the plastic pipe is deformed until the supports rest against the inner wall of the pipe and these supports then touch the inner wall of the pipe along their entire support surface, so that the forces transferred from the clamping beam to the pipe are uniformly applied larger area of the pipe can be distributed.
The invention is explained schematically in the drawings using an exemplary embodiment.
1 shows a longitudinal section through a pipe according to the invention, provided with a cleaning opening, and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 11-11 of FIG.
The tube - 1 - according to the invention has a spigot end - 2 - and a

forming neck --6-- pressed. For this purpose, a clamping beam --7-- is provided inside the pipe --1--, which essentially has a U-shaped profile and rests against the inner wall of the pipe
EMI2.2
As can be seen from FIG. 2, they are curved in accordance with the pipe wall, the radius of curvature of the supports in the unloaded state being smaller than half the inner diameter of the pipe.
If the tube - l - is made of plastic or a similar deformable material, then by tightening the wing nut - 10 - or. When a greater internal pressure occurs in the pipe, this pipe - l - is deformed in such a way that the inner wall of the pipe rests against the curved supports --11--, whereby the forces transmitted from the supports to the pipe are evenly distributed over a larger area of the inner wall of the pipe will.
A sealing covering - 12 - is now vulcanized onto the entire surface of the closure cover - 4 - facing the outer edge of the cleaning opening - 4 - through which a perfect seal between the cleaning opening --4-- and the closure cover - -5-- is guaranteed.
This sealing lining is in the area of the opening --9-- of the cover
EMI2.3
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Vulcanized sealing coating - 12 - continues and which surrounds the neck-6 - the cleaning opening-4 -, which not only improves the seal, but also an excessive deformation of the walls of the neck - 6 - when high internal pressure occurs , which could possibly lead to the breakage of a pipe made of plastic or similar material, is prevented.
