Abstract

Una composición refractaria moldeable, con un material refractario, que comprende: (a) una primera fracción de grano que consiste de partículas con diámetros menores que 100 mm; (b) una segunda fracción de grano que consiste de partículas con diámetros menores que 100 mm; y (c) una pluralidad de fracciones de granos adyacentes separadas por al menos un espacio en el cual la relación del límite superior del diámetro de partícula al límite inferior del diámetro de partícula es mayor que la raíz cuadrada de dos, la pluralidad de fracciones de granos que consiste de partículas con diámetros mayores de 100 mm, donde la pluralidad de fracciones de granos adyacentes comprenden una fracción de granos más gruesos. Reivindicación 15: Un método de producción de un producto moldeable, caracterizado porque comprende, (a) proveer un molde que posee una cavidad que corresponde al tamaño y forma del producto, (b) llenar la cavidad con una composición moldeable de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, (c) someter la composición moldeable a un proceso de compresión, (d) curar la composición moldeable para obtener una forma del producto moldeable, y (e) separar el molde del producto moldeable.
