Abstract
La presente solicitud provee polipéptidos con actividad lignocelulítica, por ejemplo, una actividad de glicosilhidrolasa, celulasa, endoglucanasa, celobiohidrolasa, beta-glucosidase, xilanasa, mananasa, xilosidasa (por ejemplo alfa-xilosidasa),arabinofuranosidasa y/o glucosaoxidasa, polinucleotidos que codifican estos polipéptidos y métodos para preparar y usar estos polinucleotidos y polipéptidos. En un aspecto la presente solicitud provee polipéptidos capaces de procesar enzimáticamente(hidrolizar) bagazo de cana de azucar, por ejemplo, para la degradacion del bagazo de cana de azucar o para el procesamiento de biomasa, y polinucleotidos que codifican dichas enzimas, y la preparacion y el uso de estos polinucleotidos ypolipéptidos. En una forma de realizacion, se provee formas termoestables y termotolerantes de los polipéptidos de la presente. Dichos polipéptidos se pueden usar en diversos contextos farmacéuticos, agrícolas e industriales, por ejemplo, se proveeun sistema multienzimático capaz de hidrolizar los polisacáridos en un componente de bagazo de la cana de azucar procesada en molinos azucareros.
