Abstract
本発明は、0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有し、クエン酸またはその塩、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを含む、虫よけ用経口組成物等を提供する。
Description
本発明は、シトラール由来の食したときの異味が低減された、シトラール含有虫よけ用経口組成物に関する。
病原体を保有する蚊に刺されると、デング熱、チクングニア熱、ジカウイルス感染症、日本脳炎、西ナイル熱、黄熱、マラリア等の蚊媒介感染症を発症する可能性がある。これらの感染症は、特に熱帯・亜熱帯地域で流行し、脅威となっているばかりでなく、昨今のグローバル規模での人の移動等のため、他の地域の人々にとっても問題となっている。
これまで、蚊よけ用には、室内等に設置する蚊取り線香、皮膚、衣服等に適用するスプレー等が用いられてきた。しかしながら、前者では屋外での使用による不便等の問題、また後者では、誤飲等の安全上の問題等があった。このため、内服用の蚊よけ剤が望まれ、シトラール等を有効成分とする、蚊よけを含む虫よけ剤が開示されている(特許文献1)。
しかしながら、シトラールは、食したときに特有の苦み、舌への刺激性等の異味を呈し、そのままでは喫食には向いていない。従って、シトラール由来の食したときの異味が低減され、甘味と酸味のバランスに優れた、シトラール含有虫よけ用経口組成物が望まれる。
本発明は、シトラール由来の食したときの異味が低減され、甘味と酸味のバランスに優れた、シトラール含有虫よけ用経口組成物を提供することを目的とする。
本発明者らは、上記課題に対して鋭意検討した結果、シトラールとともに、クエン酸またはその塩、およびアスパルテーム若しくはその塩またはスクラロース若しくはその塩等を使用することにより、シトラール由来の食したときの異味が低減されるとともに、甘味と酸味のバランスに優れた、シトラール含有虫よけ用経口組成物が得られることを見出し、かかる知見に基づいてさらに研究を進めることによって、本発明を完成するに至った。
すなわち、本発明は、以下のとおりである。

[1] 0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有し、クエン酸またはその塩、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを含む、虫よけ用経口組成物。
[2] シトラールが1回あたり0.001mg/kg体重以上~0.5mg/kg体重以下で服用されることを特徴とする、上記[1]に記載の組成物。
[3] クエン酸またはその塩の含有量が組成物中0.1重量%~10重量%である、上記[1]または[2]に記載の組成物。
[4] 後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの含有量が組成物中0.01重量%~10重量%である、上記[1]~[3]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[5] シトラールの含有量(W1)に対するクエン酸またはその塩の含有量(W2)の比(W2/W1)が10~100である、上記[1]~[4]のいずれかに記載の組成物。
[6] シトラールの含有量(W1)に対する、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの含有量(W3)の比(W3/W1)が1~100である、上記[1]~[5]のいずれかに記載の組成物。

本発明により、シトラール由来の食したときの異味が低減され、甘味と酸味のバランスに優れた、シトラール含有虫よけ用経口組成物を提供することができる。
1.虫よけ用経口組成物
本発明は、0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有し、クエン酸またはその塩、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを含む、虫よけ用経口組成物(以下、「本発明の組成物」ともいう)を提供する。

本発明の組成物において用いられるシトラールは、水または各種溶媒との付加物の形で存在することもあるが、本発明においては、これらの付加物も含め、シトラールと称する。なお、シトラールが水または各種溶媒との付加物の場合、上記含有量は、水または各種溶媒のない形態に換算した量にて表される。
また、本発明の組成物において用いられるシトラールは、自体公知の方法により合成し、またはレモングラス等の植物から自体公知の方法により抽出し、単離精製して用いてもよいが、市販の製品を好適に用いることもできる。
本発明の組成物において、シトラールの含有量は、0.01重量%~1重量%であるが、0.01重量%~0.5重量%であるのがより好ましく、0.02重量%~0.1重量%であるのがさらに好ましい。
本発明の組成物において用いられるクエン酸の塩としては、金属塩、アンモニウム塩、有機アミン付加塩、アミノ酸付加塩等があげられる。
金属塩としては、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩等のアルカリ金属塩、マグネシウム塩、カルシウム塩等のアルカリ土類金属塩、アルミニウム塩、亜鉛塩等があげられ、アンモニウム塩としては、アンモニウム塩、テトラメチルアンモニウム塩等の塩があげられ、有機アミン付加塩としては、モルホリン、ピペリジン等の付加塩があげられ、アミノ酸付加塩としては、グリシン、フェニルアラニン、リジン、アスパラギン、グルタミン等の付加塩があげられる。
クエン酸の塩を取得したいとき、クエン酸が塩の形で得られるときはそのまま精製すればよく、また、遊離の形で得られるときは、クエン酸を適当な溶媒に溶解または懸濁し、酸または塩基を加えて単離、精製すればよい。
また、クエン酸またはその塩は、水または各種溶媒との付加物の形で存在することもあるが、本発明においては、これらの付加物も含め、クエン酸またはその塩と称する。
本発明の組成物において用いられるクエン酸またはその塩は、自体公知の方法により合成してもよいが、市販の製品を好適に用いることもできる。
本発明の組成物において用いられる後甘味の甘味料は、甘味が発現するタイミングがショ糖よりも後の甘味料を指し、例えば、アスパルテーム、アドバンテーム、スクラロース、ネオテーム、またはこれらの塩、ソーマチン、ステビア、甘草等があげられる。中でも、アスパルテーム若しくはその塩、アドバンテーム若しくはその塩、スクラロース若しくはその塩、またはステビアが好ましく、アスパルテーム若しくはその塩、またはスクラロース若しくはその塩がさらに好ましい。ここで、甘味が発現するタイミングは、時間-強度線法(Time-Intensity法;TI法)によって評価することができる(加藤佳子、井川佳子著、“時間-強度線法(Time-Intensity Method:T-I法)による甘味特性評価--シュークロース,キシリトール,エリスリトール,ソルビトールについて”、安田女子大學紀要/安田女子大学、安田女子短期大学編、2008年、36号、p.169-173等参照)。
アスパルテーム、アドバンテーム、スクラロース、ネオテーム等の塩としては、酸付加塩、金属塩、アンモニウム塩、有機アミン付加塩、アミノ酸付加塩等があげられる。
酸付加塩としては、塩酸塩、硫酸塩、臭化水素酸塩、硝酸塩、リン酸塩等の無機酸塩、酢酸塩、メシル酸塩、コハク酸塩、マレイン酸塩、フマル酸塩、クエン酸塩、酒石酸塩等の有機酸塩があげられ、金属塩としては、ナトリウム塩、カリウム塩等のアルカリ金属塩、マグネシウム塩、カルシウム塩等のアルカリ土類金属塩、アルミニウム塩、亜鉛塩等があげられ、アンモニウム塩としては、アンモニウム塩、テトラメチルアンモニウム塩等の塩があげられ、有機アミン付加塩としては、モルホリン、ピペリジン等の付加塩があげられ、アミノ酸付加塩としては、グリシン、フェニルアラニン、リジン、アスパラギン、グルタミン、アスパラギン酸、グルタミン酸等の付加塩があげられる。
上記塩を取得したいとき、各甘味料が塩の形で得られるときはそのまま精製すればよく、また、遊離体の形で得られるときは、当該遊離体を適当な溶媒に溶解または懸濁し、酸または塩基を加えて単離、精製すればよい。
また、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKは、水または各種溶媒との付加物の形で存在することもあるが、本発明においては、これらの付加物も含め、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKと称する。
また、「後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムK」は、後甘味の甘味料およびアセスルファムKの両者を含む態様も含み、「後甘味の甘味料」は、複数の種類の後甘味の甘味料を含んでもよい。
本発明の組成物において用いられる後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKは、それぞれ自体公知の方法により合成し、または植物や動物から自体公知の方法により抽出し、単離精製して用いてもよいが、市販の製品を好適に用いることもできる。
本発明の組成物は、医薬品、医薬部外品、食品(飲料を含む)等の各種組成物であり得る。一態様においては、本発明の組成物は、食品である。
本発明において、食品は、例えば、保健機能食品、特定保健用食品、栄養機能食品、ダイエタリーサプリメント、栄養補助食品、健康補助食品、医療用食品、メディカルフード等として提供されるものであってもよい。
「本発明の虫よけ用組成物」における虫としては、ヒトスジシマカ、ネッタイシマカ、アカイエカ、イエカ、ハマダラカ、ヤブカ、ユスリカ等の蚊、ハエ、ガ、アブ、ブヨ、ノミ、ダニ、蜂、アリ、ゴキブリ、シラミ、カメムシ等があげられるが、蚊が好ましく、ヒトスジシマカ、ネッタイシマカ、アカイエカ、イエカ、ハマダラカまたはヤブカがより好ましい。
「本発明の虫よけ用組成物」における「虫よけ」とは、虫が本発明の組成物の服用対象に害を及ぼすことを阻止することを広く意味するものであって、具体的には、例えば、屋内外を問わず、虫をよせつけない、虫を追い払う、吸血忌避等があげられる。
本発明の組成物の服用対象としては、ヒト、イヌ、ネコ、ウサギ、ウマ、ウシ、ヒツジ、ブタ、ヤギ、ニワトリ、ネズミ、ウズラ等があげられるが、ヒトが好ましい。
一態様においては、本発明は、シトラールが1回あたり0.001mg/kg体重以上~0.5mg/kg体重以下で服用される、本発明の組成物を提供する。シトラールの1回あたりの服用量は、0.005mg/kg体重以上~0.1mg/kg体重未満であるのがより好ましく、0.01mg/kg体重以上~0.1mg/kg体重未満であるのがさらに好ましく、0.01mg/kg体重以上~0.05mg/kg体重以下であるのが特に好ましい。なお、シトラールが水または各種溶媒との付加物の場合、上記服用量は、水または各種溶媒のない形態に換算した量にて表される。
一態様においては、本発明は、クエン酸またはその塩がクエン酸換算で1回あたり0.1mg/kg体重以上~10mg/kg体重以下で服用される、本発明の組成物を提供する。クエン酸またはその塩の1回あたりの服用量は、クエン酸換算で0.2mg/kg体重以上~5mg/kg体重以下であるのがより好ましく、0.3mg/kg体重以上~1mg/kg体重以下であるのがさらに好ましい。なお、クエン酸またはその塩が水または各種溶媒との付加物の場合、上記服用量は、水または各種溶媒のない形態に換算した量にて表される。
一態様においては、本発明は、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKが1回あたり0.01mg/kg体重以上~5mg/kg体重以下で服用される、本発明の組成物を提供する。後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの1回あたりの服用量は、0.03mg/kg体重以上~3mg/kg体重以下であるのがより好ましく、0.05mg/kg体重以上~2mg/kg体重以下であるのがさらに好ましい。なお、後甘味の甘味料が塩の形態の場合、上記服用量は、遊離体に換算した量にて表される。また、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKが水または各種溶媒との付加物の場合、上記服用量は、水または各種溶媒のない形態に換算した量にて表される。
一態様においては、本発明は、シトラールの含有量(W1)に対するクエン酸またはその塩の含有量(W2)の比(W2/W1)が10~100である、本発明の組成物を提供する。シトラールの含有量(W1)に対するクエン酸またはその塩の含有量(W2)の比(W2/W1)は、10~90であるのがより好ましく、15~80であるのがさらに好ましい。なお、クエン酸の塩の場合、上記比は、遊離体に換算した量にて表される。また、シトラールあるいはクエン酸またはその塩が水または各種溶媒との付加物の場合、上記比は、水または各種溶媒のない形態に換算した量にて表される。
一態様においては、本発明は、シトラールの含有量(W1)に対する後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの含有量(W3)の比(W3/W1)が1~100である、本発明の組成物を提供する。シトラールの含有量(W1)に対する後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの含有量(W3)の比(W3/W1)は、2~80であるのがより好ましく、3~60であるのがさらに好ましい。なお、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKが塩の形態の場合、上記比は、遊離体に換算した量にて表される。また、シトラールまたは後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKが水または各種溶媒との付加物の場合、上記比は、水または各種溶媒のない形態に換算した量にて表される。
本発明の組成物の具体的な形態としては、固形状(錠剤、チュアブル、顆粒、散剤、カプセル等)、ペースト状、液状、懸濁液状、乳化液状等があげられるが、錠剤等の固形状であるのが好ましい。
本発明の組成物には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、他の成分をさらに含有させてもよい。他の成分としては、上記した組成物の各形態に応じて適宜選択できるが、例えば、希釈剤、賦形剤、崩壊剤、滑沢剤、結合剤、界面活性剤、水、生理食塩水、植物油可溶化剤、等張化剤、保存剤、抗酸化剤等があげられる。他の成分は、必要に応じて、1種または2種以上を含有させることができる。
本発明の組成物が他の成分を含有する場合、該他の成分は、本発明の組成物において、例えば、総量として0.001重量%~30重量%、好ましくは0.01重量%~20重量%、より好ましくは0.1重量%~10重量%の濃度で含有させることができる。
次に、本発明の組成物の製造方法について説明する。
本発明の組成物は、0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラール、クエン酸またはその塩、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKに、必要に応じて、他の成分を適宜添加し、そのまま混合することにより、または医薬品、医薬部外品または食品の分野で一般的なその他の製造方法により製造することができる。これら各成分を添加する順番等は特に制限されず、使用目的に応じて適宜設定することができる。
2.虫よけ方法
本発明はまた、シトラールを1回あたり0.001mg/kg体重以上~0.5mg/kg体重以下で服用することを特徴とする、虫よけ方法(以下、「虫よけ方法」という)を提供する。

「シトラール」、「シトラールの服用量」および「虫よけ」については、本発明の組成物について上記で説明したとおりである。
3.シトラール含有経口組成物の製造方法およびシトラール含有経口組成物におけるシトラール由来の異味低減方法
本発明はまた、0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有する経口組成物の製造において、クエン酸またはその塩を組成物中の含有量が0.1重量%~10重量%となるように、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを組成物中の含有量が0.01重量%~10重量%となるように添加する工程を含む、シトラール含有経口組成物の製造方法(以下、「本発明の製造方法」という)並びにシトラール含有経口組成物におけるシトラール由来の異味低減方法(以下、「本発明の異味低減方法」という)を提供する。
本発明はまた、0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有する経口組成物の製造において、クエン酸またはその塩を組成物中の含有量が0.1重量%~10重量%となるように、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを組成物中の含有量が0.01重量%~10重量%となるように添加する工程を含む、シトラール含有経口組成物の製造方法(以下、「本発明の製造方法」という)並びにシトラール含有経口組成物におけるシトラール由来の異味低減方法(以下、「本発明の異味低減方法」という)を提供する。
「シトラール」、「クエン酸またはその塩」、「後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムK」および「各成分の含有量」については、本発明の組成物について上記で説明したとおりである。
本発明の異味低減方法における「異味低減」は、シトラールは食したときに特有の苦み、舌への刺激性等の異味を呈し、このシトラール由来の特有の異味が低減されていることをいう。ここで、「シトラール由来の特有の異味が低減されている」とは、(1)シトラール特有の異味がなく、好ましい官能品質である、(2)シトラール特有の異味が許容できる、または(3)シトラール特有の異味が強く感じられるが、許容できるのいずれかとなった状態をいう。
次に、本発明を実施例等により具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらの例によって何ら限定されるものではない。
参考例1(皮膚からのシトラール蒸散測定)
食品添加物グレードのシトラール(Citral-Natural,≧96%,FCC,FG、Sigma Aldrich)(3mg)をオリーブ油(AJINOMOTOオリーブオイル、(株)J-オイルミルズ)(5mL)に溶解し(溶液)、被験者(60kg以上100kg未満)5名に経口摂取させた。または、後述する実施例7で調製した錠剤を、被験者(60kg以上100kg未満)5名に3粒経口摂取させた。この場合、被験者は、各錠剤を、噛んで摂取した。被験者の片手に皮膚ガス捕集バッグを装着し、シトラール経口投与後0~1、1~2および2~4時間に当該片手から蒸散したガスをバッグに捕集した。捕集したガスを10mLの25%エタノールで洗浄し、洗浄液中のシトラール量(シトラール蒸散量)をガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析計で測定した。
ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析の条件を、以下に示す。
装置:GCMS-QP2020((株)島津製作所)、オートサンプラー:AOC―6000Plus
(オートサンプラー)
注入法:固相マイクロ抽出法、60℃、250rpmで30分間維持し、SPME Arrow(Agilent Technology社)に吸着させ、その後270℃で2分間脱着させた。
(GC)
気化室温度:250℃、カラム:InertCap(0.25μm×60m×0.25mm)、カラム温度プログラム:開始温度50℃で5分間維持、その後10℃/分で250℃まで昇温(20分間維持)、キャリアガス圧力:83.5psi
(MS)
インターフェース温度:240℃、イオン源温度:200℃、イオン化モード:EI:(電子エネルギー:70eV)、測定モード:SIMモード(m/z=69)
その結果(平均値±標準偏差)を、表1に示す。

表1に示すように、経口摂取したシトラールが、皮膚から蒸散することが確認された。
実施例1(シトラール喫食時の蚊忌避効果)
食品添加物グレードのシトラール(Citral-Natural,≧96%,FCC,FG、Sigma Aldrich)(3mg)をオリーブ油(AJINOMOTOオリーブオイル、(株)J-オイルミルズ)(5mL)に溶解し、被験者(60kg以上100kg未満)3名に経口摂取させた。シトラール摂取前、摂取20分後および摂取80分後に、各被験者の左腕および右腕を100匹の蚊が入ったボックスに20分間挿入した。また、シトラール経口摂取の代わりに虫よけスプレー(お肌の虫よけ スキンベープミスト 爽快シトラスマリンの香り、フマキラー(株))を噴霧した被験者またはアロマスプレー(アウトドアボディスプレー エクストラ、パーフェクトポーションジャパン(株))を噴霧した被験者を、対照とした。吸血した蚊の数を記録し、吸血忌避率を、以下の式により求めた。
吸血忌避率(%)=(1-A/B)×100
A:のべ吸血数(摂取後)
B:のべ吸血数(摂取前)
その結果(被験者3名、計6腕の平均値)を、表3に示す。

表2に示すように、シトラールを喫食することにより、虫よけスプレーやアロマスプレーと同等の吸血忌避率が得られ、すなわちシトラールの喫食が虫よけスプレーやアロマスプレーと同等の蚊よけ効果を有することが確認された。
実施例2~6および比較例1~7(シトラール含有各組成物の官能評価)
表3に示す配合で、シトラールを含む各成分を、秤量し、篩過した後混合し、打錠を行い、それぞれ1gの錠剤を得た。得られた各錠剤1錠について、熟練した評価者4名によって、表4に示す評価尺度で協議により異風味に関する官能評価を行った。その結果を、表3に示す。
なお、本実施例および比較例を含む以下の実施例等では、各成分として、特に断りのない限り、以下のものを使用した。
・粉末シトラール:シトラールに脂肪族高級アルデヒド類、ケトン類、脂肪酸類、脂肪族高級アルコール類、砂糖、マルトデキストリン、オクテニルコハク酸デンプンナトリウム、プロピレングリコール、ミックストコフェロールを添加して混合物中のシトラール含量を16%に調整し、粉末化したもの
・アスパルテーム:PAL SWEET DIET(登録商標)(味の素(株))
・マルチトール:アマルティ(登録商標)MR-500((株)感光社)
・ソルビトール:NEOSORB(登録商標) XTAB 290(SORBITOL、ROQUETTE社)
・ステアリン酸カルシウム:食品添加物Ca-St(日東化成工業(株))
・微粒二酸化ケイ素:サイロページ720(富士シリシア化学(株))
・微結晶セルロース:セオラス(登録商標)ST-100(旭化成(株))
・さとうきび抽出物:みどり(青葉化成(株))
表3に示す配合で、シトラールを含む各成分を、秤量し、篩過した後混合し、打錠を行い、それぞれ1gの錠剤を得た。得られた各錠剤1錠について、熟練した評価者4名によって、表4に示す評価尺度で協議により異風味に関する官能評価を行った。その結果を、表3に示す。
なお、本実施例および比較例を含む以下の実施例等では、各成分として、特に断りのない限り、以下のものを使用した。
・粉末シトラール:シトラールに脂肪族高級アルデヒド類、ケトン類、脂肪酸類、脂肪族高級アルコール類、砂糖、マルトデキストリン、オクテニルコハク酸デンプンナトリウム、プロピレングリコール、ミックストコフェロールを添加して混合物中のシトラール含量を16%に調整し、粉末化したもの
・アスパルテーム:PAL SWEET DIET(登録商標)(味の素(株))
・マルチトール:アマルティ(登録商標)MR-500((株)感光社)
・ソルビトール:NEOSORB(登録商標) XTAB 290(SORBITOL、ROQUETTE社)
・ステアリン酸カルシウム:食品添加物Ca-St(日東化成工業(株))
・微粒二酸化ケイ素:サイロページ720(富士シリシア化学(株))

表3に示すように、粉末シトラールに加えてクエン酸、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKとしてアスパルテーム、アセスルファムK、スクラロースまたはステビアを含む錠剤において、シトラール特有の異味がないか、許容できる範囲であり、好ましい官能品質であった。
実施例7~9および比較例8(異なるクエン酸量での官能評価)
表5に示す配合で、粉末シトラールを含む各成分を、秤量し、篩過した後混合し、打錠を行い、それぞれ1gの錠剤を得た。得られた各錠剤1錠について、熟練した評価者4名によって、表4に示す評価尺度で協議により異風味に関する官能評価を行った。その結果を、表5に示す。
表5に示す配合で、粉末シトラールを含む各成分を、秤量し、篩過した後混合し、打錠を行い、それぞれ1gの錠剤を得た。得られた各錠剤1錠について、熟練した評価者4名によって、表4に示す評価尺度で協議により異風味に関する官能評価を行った。その結果を、表5に示す。
表5に示すように、粉末シトラールに加えてクエン酸、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKとしてアスパルテーム含む錠剤において、クエン酸量が2重量%から5.5重量%に増えるにつれて、より好ましい官能品質となった。
実施例10、11および比較例9(異なるアスパルテーム量での官能評価)
表6に示す配合で、粉末シトラールを含む各成分を、秤量し、篩過した後混合し、打錠を行った。得られた各錠剤について、熟練した評価者4名によって、表4に示す評価尺度で協議により異風味に関する官能評価を行った。その結果を、表6に示す。

表6に示すように、粉末シトラールに加えてクエン酸、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKとしてアスパルテームを含む錠剤において、アスパルテーム量が0.5重量%から1.6重量%に増えるにつれて、より好ましい官能品質となった。
実施例12(シトラール喫食時の蚊忌避効果)
有限会社モストップにて産卵前のメスの蚊(吸血行動を示す)を用意し、仕切り板で区切られたボックスに、蚊を100匹入れた。被験者(60kg以上100kg未満)は、試験開始3分前を目安に両腕(前腕部まで)を図1に示すように試験箱の中に入れ、蚊が逃げないように腕にバンドをつけた。次いで、仕切り板を取り除いて最初の試験(喫食前)を開始し、20分間で、蚊の、試験箱への進入数および被験者への降着数を1分ごとに記録した。最初の試験終了後、腹に血の溜まった蚊の数を計測し、吸血数とした。蚊100匹を全て回収し、仕切り版を再度設置した。最初の試験終了20分後に、被験者に実施例7で調製した1gの錠剤3粒を摂取させた。仕切り版を再度設置したボックスに新たに蚊を100匹入れ、最初の試験と同様にして、錠剤摂取の20分後に2回目の試験(0~1時間)を20分間行い、蚊を入れ替えた後、錠剤摂取の80分後に3回目の試験(1~2時間)を20分間行い、さらに蚊を入れ替えた後、錠剤摂取の200分後に4回目の試験(3~4時間)を20分間行った。進入率、降着率、吸血率および吸血割合は、それぞれ以下の式により求めた。
進入率(%)=100×各試験時の平均進入数/最初の試験時の平均進入数
降着率(%)=100×各試験時の平均のべ降着数/最初の試験時の平均のべ降着数
吸血率(%)=100×各試験時の平均吸血数/最初の試験時の平均吸血数
吸血割合(%)=100×平均吸血数/平均のべ降着数
その結果(被験者5名、計10腕の平均値)を、表7および表8に示す。

進入率(%)=100×各試験時の平均進入数/最初の試験時の平均進入数
降着率(%)=100×各試験時の平均のべ降着数/最初の試験時の平均のべ降着数
吸血率(%)=100×各試験時の平均吸血数/最初の試験時の平均吸血数
吸血割合(%)=100×平均吸血数/平均のべ降着数
その結果(被験者5名、計10腕の平均値)を、表7および表8に示す。
表7に示すように、シトラールを喫食することにより、2~4回目のいずれの試験においても、低い降着率および吸血率となり、すなわちシトラールの喫食が蚊をよせつけない効果および吸血忌避効果を有することが確認された。さらに、蚊をよせつけない効果より吸血忌避効果の方が大きいことがわかった。また、表8に示すように、4回目の試験においては、2~3回目の試験と比較して、平均のべ降着数はある程度回復したものの、吸血割合はさらに減少した。
本発明により、シトラール由来の食したときの異味が低減され、甘味と酸味のバランスに優れた、シトラール含有虫よけ用経口組成物を提供することができる。従って、本発明は、食品産業分野において有用である。
本出願は、日本で出願された特願2022-176405(出願日:2022年11月2日)を基礎としており、その内容は本明細書に全て包含されるものである。
Claims (13)
- 0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有し、クエン酸またはその塩、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを含む、虫よけ用経口組成物。
- シトラールが1回あたり0.001mg/kg体重以上~0.5mg/kg体重以下で服用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- クエン酸またはその塩の含有量が組成物中0.1重量%~10重量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの含有量が組成物中0.01重量%~10重量%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シトラールの含有量(W1)に対するクエン酸またはその塩の含有量(W2)の比(W2/W1)が10~100である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シトラールの含有量(W1)に対する、後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKの含有量(W3)の比(W3/W1)が1~100である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKが、アスパルテーム若しくはその塩、アドバンテーム若しくはその塩、スクラロース若しくはその塩、ステビアまたはアセスルファムKである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 組成物が食品である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 虫が蚊、ハエ、ガ、アブ、ブヨ、ノミ、ダニ、蜂、アリまたはゴキブリである、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 虫が蚊である、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- シトラールを1回あたり0.001mg/kg体重以上~0.5mg/kg体重以下で服用することを特徴とする、虫よけ方法。
- 0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有する経口組成物の製造方法であって、クエン酸またはその塩を組成物中の含有量が0.1重量%~10重量%となるように、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを組成物中の含有量が0.01重量%~10重量%となるように添加する工程を含む、方法。
- 0.01重量%~1重量%のシトラールを含有する経口組成物の製造において、クエン酸またはその塩を組成物中の含有量が0.1重量%~10重量%となるように、および後甘味の甘味料またはアセスルファムKを組成物中の含有量が0.01重量%~10重量%となるように添加する工程を含む、該組成物におけるシトラール由来の異味低減方法。
