- a face-mounted mask consists of a mask body that at least partially covers the wearer's face, and a pair of ear hooks that are respectively coupled to the mask body to hold the mask body in its wearing position. and a member that can be hung on each ear of the ear.
- the ear hooks (ear hooks) used in masks were often string-shaped, but in order to reduce the burden on the ears, sheet-shaped ear hooks are also being considered.
- the mask described in Patent Literature 1 includes a single sheet-like ear hook sheet extending on the same plane with both ear hook portions connected to each other by a connecting portion.
- One aspect of the present invention is a method for manufacturing an ear hook member for a mask, wherein a stretchable member is stretched so as to generate tension in a predetermined direction, and while maintaining the tension, at least one of the stretchable members A non-stretchable surface material is layered on the surface, the stretchable member and the surface material are joined to obtain a bonded body, and the bonded body is relaxed in the predetermined direction to reduce the tension to a predetermined level. setting the joint body in a relaxed state, and punching the joined body in the predetermined relaxed state into a predetermined shape.
- FIG. 1 is a plan view of a mask according to one aspect of the invention
- FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line II of FIG. 1
- FIG. 4 is a plan view of the mask after a pair of ear hooks are opened sideways
- FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along line II-II of FIG. 4
- FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional view of an ear hook sheet.
- It is a schematic diagram for demonstrating manufacture of a mask. It is a figure for demonstrating a relaxation means. An example of a mask manufactured by the mask manufacturing apparatus shown in FIG. 7 is shown.
- Fig. 2 shows a plan view of a mask without auxiliary material;
- One form of the present invention relates to ear hooks for masks. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a mask provided with such mask ear hooks.
- a mask provided with such mask ear hooks.
- the mask in this form may be a mask capable of covering the wearer's face, more specifically at least the nose and mouth of the wearer.
- the mask according to this embodiment can have the function of preventing foreign substances from reaching the face and preventing droplets generated from the wearer from scattering, and is also called a sanitary mask or a surgical mask.
- This form is preferably used as a disposable mask, but may be used as a mask that can be used repeatedly by washing or the like.
- FIG. 1 is a view of the mask 1 viewed from the outside, that is, the side exposed to the outside without facing the face when worn.
- FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the mask viewed from the inside (face side).
- FIG. 3 shows a sectional view taken along line II of FIG.
- a mask 1 includes a mask body 10 that is placed in front of the wearer's face when worn and that can mainly cover the wearer's nose and mouth, and a mask body 10 that is connected to the mask body 10.
- a pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a is provided.
- the mask body 10 has a vertical direction D1 corresponding to the vertical direction of the wearer's face when worn, and a horizontal direction D2 orthogonal to the vertical direction D1 (a direction corresponding to the horizontal direction of the wearer's face when worn).
- the mask body 10 has a rectangular plan view shape having long sides in the horizontal direction D2, but the plan view shape of the mask body 10 is not limited to that illustrated.
- the mask body 10 has a pleat structure 15 formed by a plurality of folds (pleats) arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction D1.
- the folds of the pleated structure 15 can be formed by folding the sheet forming the mask body 10 multiple times along the folding lines along the lateral direction D2. Then, the side portions (horizontal direction D2 end portions) of the mask body 10 are fixed in a state in which a plurality of folds are formed. Therefore, when the mask 1 is used, the folds of the pleat structure 15 are widened in the vertical direction D1 so that the center in the horizontal direction D2 is curved so as to protrude toward the outer surface of the mask 1, fitting the three-dimensional shape of the face. can be transformed into any shape.
- a specific configuration of the pleat structure 15 is not particularly limited, and may be a known configuration formed on the mask body.
- each of the ear hooks 20a may be annular (or closed band-like) in plan view, or may have a shape including a ring.
- the ear hook 20a can be hung on the ear such that the wearer's ear enters the inner side of the ring of the ear hook 20a, that is, the opening 29 in the center of the ear hook 20a.
- the pair of ear hooking portions 20a, 20a may be configured as one sheet-like ear hooking member (ear hooking portion sheet) 20 separably coupled to each other at the center in the lateral direction D2.
- sheet-like or “sheet” refers to a shape whose length and width are greater than its thickness and which extends or can extend in one plane. Therefore, the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a in this embodiment is different from the string-like or thread-like ear hooks.
- the ear hooking part 20a can come into surface contact with the back surface of the earlobe when the ear hooking part 20a is hooked on the ear when the mask is worn.
- the coupling form of the separable coupling portion 28 of the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a is not particularly limited, it is preferably a coupling that can be separated by pulling with the user's normal force.
- discontinuous cuts cut portions
- the connecting portion 28 can also be formed by reducing the thickness of the sheet or by other means, instead of perforations, weakening the boundary between the pair of ear hooking portions 20a and facilitating the application of stress. can be formed.
- the mask body 10 may have a multi-layer structure in which a plurality of layers are laminated. For example, it may have a structure including at least three layers in which an intermediate layer having an enhanced function to trap foreign substances (dust, pollen, bacteria, viruses, etc.) is sandwiched between an outer layer and an inner layer.
- Each layer constituting the mask body 10 preferably includes a fiber-containing layer such as a nonwoven fabric, a woven fabric, or a knitted fabric, and more preferably includes a nonwoven fabric.
- nonwoven fabrics include spunbond nonwoven fabrics, spunlace nonwoven fabrics, meltblown nonwoven fabrics, air-through nonwoven fabrics, point-bond nonwoven fabrics, and the like.
- the fibers constituting the fiber-containing layer are preferably resin fibers, and examples of resin types for the resin fibers include polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, and nylon.
- the basis weight of the outer layer and the inner layer may be 10-50 g/m 2 , preferably 15-50 g/m 2 .
- the basis weight of the intermediate layer having high foreign matter trapping properties is preferably 10 to 100 g/m 2 , more preferably 15 to 50 g/m 2 .
- the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are coupled to the side portions (horizontal direction D2 end portions) of the outer surface of the mask body 10, respectively. That is, the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are respectively joined at the outer ends of the mask body 10 in the lateral direction D2, and the other portions of the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are joined to the mask body 10. not 1, the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are connected to both sides of the mask body 10 via auxiliary members 30, 30, respectively.
- the auxiliary members 30 , 30 may be sheet-like members extending along the longitudinal direction D ⁇ b>1 of the mask 1 .
- the auxiliary members 30, 30 are joined to both ends of the mask body 10 in the horizontal direction D2 at outer joining portions 50, 50, respectively.
- auxiliary members 30, 30 are joined to both end portions of the ear hooking sheet 20 in the lateral direction D2 at the inner joining portions 60, 60, respectively. Therefore, it is possible to select an optimum joint form for the outer joint 50 between the auxiliary material 30 and the mask body 10 and for the inner joint 60 between the auxiliary material 30 and the ear hook sheet 20, respectively. A stronger mask 1 can be obtained than when the 20 and the mask body 10 are directly bonded.
- the auxiliary material 30 may be stretchable, but it is preferably less stretchable than the ear hook sheet 20 .
- the user releases the separable joint 28 between the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a before wearing the mask 1, and the ear hooks 20a, 20a are separated from each other, and the portions of the ear hooks 20a, 20a that are not joined to the mask body 10 are opened in the lateral direction D2.
- Such separation/deployment and the configuration associated with these operations are described below.
- the user can pinch or grasp the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a with each hand and pull them in opposite directions. Thereby, first, the coupling of the separable coupling portion 28 can be released. Thereafter, the user can open the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a outward (laterally) in the lateral direction D2 while holding the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a.
- FIG. 4 shows a view after the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a of the mask 1 of FIG. 1 are laterally developed.
- 5 shows a cross-sectional view taken along the line II-II of FIG.
- the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are opened, the ear hooks 20a, 20a are turned inside out, exposing the surface that has been facing the mask body 10 until then. Almost the entire outer surface of the mask body 10 is also exposed.
- the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a may be arranged on the outer surface side or the inner surface side of the mask main body 10, but they are arranged on the outer surface side of the mask 1 as shown in FIGS. preferably. If the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are arranged on the outer surface side of the mask main body 10, when the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are released from each other and opened outward in the lateral direction D2, the mask main body 10 It is possible to reduce or eliminate the possibility of touching the inner surface of the body, which is preferable from a hygienic point of view.
- the mask 1 according to this embodiment can be used as follows. For example, in a state in which the mask 1 is placed with the outer surface of the mask body 10 facing up, the user holds the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a by hand and opens them outward in the lateral direction D2. The mask 1 can be moved to the face of another person (wearer) while holding the ear hooks 20a, 20a. After arranging the mask body 10 at a desired position on the other person's face, the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a can be hung on the other person's ears without changing the way of holding the mask. Therefore, the mask 1 according to the present embodiment can be suitably used when a person, such as a child or a sick person, who has difficulty in wearing a mask by himself/herself is made to wear the mask.
- the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a can be pinched by the user when the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are separated from each other and opened outward in the lateral direction D2.
- Knobs 25, 25 may be formed.
- the knobs 25, 25 preferably protrude from the edge of the mask body 10, preferably from the lower end of the mask 1 (or the lower end of the mask body 10) in plan view. Since the knobs 25, 25 protrude from the edge of the mask body 10, the user can use both hands without or almost without touching the mask body 10 itself, i.e., neither the outer surface nor the inner surface of the mask body 10.
- the knobs 25, 25 can also be pinched with.
- the user can separate and unfold the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a without touching the mask body 10 or almost without touching it. Therefore, even in a situation where the user cannot give sufficient consideration to hand hygiene, the user can wear the mask 1 in good hygiene on himself or others.
- the maximum length of the protruding portion in the vertical direction D1 is preferably 5 to 20 mm, more preferably 8 to 15 mm.
- the ear hook portion 20a has the knob portions 25, 25, the user can hold the knob portions 25, 25 and hold the ear hook portion when or after putting the ear hook portion 20a on the wearer's ear. Adjustments can also be made easily. That is, by holding the knobs 25, 25, the position of the ear hook 20a can be adjusted by shifting the ear hook 20a relative to the ear in the circumferential direction of the ear hook 20a, or by moving the ear hook 20a toward the rear side. It is possible to adjust the tension of the ear hook portion 20a by pulling or loosening it.
- the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a are connected not to the inner surface (face-side surface) of the mask body 10, but to both sides of the outer surface (FIGS. 1, 3 to 5, etc.).
- both sides of the mask body 10 are pressed toward the face from the outer surface side by the ear hooks 20a.
- the gap between the mask body 10 and the face can be reduced on both sides of the mask body 10, and the functions of the mask, such as the function of blocking foreign matter and the function of preventing droplets emitted by the wearer from scattering, can be improved. .
- the ear hooks 20a are not arranged on the inner surface side (face side) of both sides of the main body, the ear hooks 20a on both sides of the mask body 10 do not directly contact the wearer's face during wearing. Therefore, discomfort is also reduced.
- the mask body 10 may be formed with a mark 18 that enables distinction between the outer surface and the inner surface of the mask body 10 by embossing, printing, sewing, or the like.
- the form of the mark 18 is not limited as long as the inside and outside of the surface can be recognized visually or by touch by the user.
- the marks 18 may be letters, numbers, symbols, graphics, logos, etc., as shown in FIG.
- FIG. 6 shows a partially enlarged sectional view of the ear hook sheet 20. As shown in FIG. FIG. 6A shows a state (natural state) in which no external force is applied to the ear hook sheet 20, and FIG. 6B shows the ear hook sheet 20 being pulled outward in the lateral direction D2. Indicates that the
- the ear hook sheet 20 may be a laminate sheet in which a plurality of layers are laminated.
- the ear hook sheet 20 includes an elastic member 5, and the first surface material 2 is provided on the first surface, which is one surface of the elastic member 5, and the A second surface material 3 is arranged on the second surface, which is a surface. Both facings may be non-stretchable.

- the ear hook sheet 20 may be composed of a combination of the stretchable member 5 and a non-stretchable surface material arranged only on one side of the stretchable member 5, but the surface material is arranged on both sides.
- the production of the ear hook sheet 20 will be described in more detail later, but after the non-stretchable surface material is arranged with the elastic member 5 stretched and joined at the joints 4, 4, . Release the elongation of the member 5 (relax the elastic member 5). Therefore, when no external force is applied to the ear hooking sheet 20, the surface materials (the first surface material 2 and the second surface material 3) have folds (FIG. 6(a)).
- the direction in which the stretchable member 5 is stretched may be a direction including a component in the width direction D2 when disassembled, and is preferably the width direction D2.
- the stretchability of the ear hook portion 20a is mainly due to the elastic member 5 of the ear hook portion 20a.
- the "stretchability" of the stretchable member 5 means that it can be stretched in at least one direction by applying a tensile force, and by releasing the applied tensile force (in a state where no external force is applied). It has the property of returning to its original length (natural length).
- an elastic film is used as the elastic member 5, that is, the elastic member 5 is a continuous film-like molding having a substantially uniform thickness.
- a filamentous stretchable body aggregate formed by juxtaposing a plurality of filamentous stretchable bodies (or filamentous elastic bodies) such as thread rubber may be used, or a stretchable hot-melt adhesive may be used.
- the stretchable hot-melt adhesive may be arranged linearly or planarly.
- the elastic film is preferable because it can provide the ear hook member 20 with higher elasticity or extensibility compared to other elastic members such as filamentous elastic bodies.
- the elastic film is easy to handle during production.
- Materials for elastic films include polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, and polyurethane.
- the stretchability of the stretchable film is preferably 3.5 to 4.0 times the natural length as measured by a tensile tester.
- the elastic film may also have the function of allowing moisture to pass through.
- the surface material (the first surface material 2 and/or the second surface material 3 when the surface material is provided on both sides of the elastic member 5) is preferably a fiber structure.
- the fiber structure include nonwoven fabrics, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, etc. Among these, nonwoven fabrics are preferable because they have good touch and breathability and contribute to improvement of wearing comfort.
- Nonwoven fabrics include air-through nonwoven fabrics, spunbond nonwoven fabrics, spunlace nonwoven fabrics, needle-punched nonwoven fabrics, chemical-bonded nonwoven fabrics, and the like. Among these, a fuzz-free, high-strength spunbond nonwoven fabric, a soft air-through nonwoven fabric, or the like can be appropriately selected.
- the fibers contained in the nonwoven fabric are preferably resin fibers, and examples of resin types for the resin fibers include polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, and nylon.
- the surface material is a nonwoven fabric
- the nonwoven fabric may have a basis weight of 5 to 50 g/m 2 , particularly preferably 8 to 25 g/m 2 . If the facing material is arranged on both sides of the elastic member 5, the first facing material 2 and the second facing material 3 may be the same or different.
- One aspect of the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an ear hook member for a mask.
- the method of manufacturing the mask ear hook member according to the present embodiment includes (a) an elongation step of elongating the stretchable member so as to generate tension in a predetermined direction; (c) joining the elastic member and the surface material to obtain a joined body; (d) stretching the joined body and (e) a punching step of punching out the joined body in the relaxed state (predetermined relaxed state) into a predetermined shape. .
- one aspect of the present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing an ear hook member for a mask.
- the mask ear hook manufacturing apparatus includes (A) stretching means for stretching the stretchable member so as to generate tension in a predetermined direction, and (B) the stretchable member while maintaining the generated tension. (C) joining means for joining the elastic member and the surface material to obtain a joined body; and (D) stretching the joined body and (E) a punching means for punching the joined body in the relaxed state (predetermined relaxed state) into a predetermined shape.
- the mask ear hook member manufacturing apparatus may be configured as a part of the mask manufacturing apparatus, or may be configured independently.
- FIG. 7 shows a schematic diagram of a mask manufacturing apparatus 300 including a mask ear hook member manufacturing apparatus 100 and a mask member combining apparatus 200 .
- the mask ear hook member manufacturing apparatus 100 is arranged upstream of the mask manufacturing apparatus 300 .

- the ear hook member manufacturing apparatus 100 includes elastic member band supplying means 123 for supplying the elastic member band 5A that will later become the elastic member 5, and for supplying the first surface material band 2A that will later become the first surface member 2. and a second surfacing strip supply means 122 for supplying a second surfacing strip 3A which later becomes the second surfacing strip 3A.
- Long materials namely elastic member strips 5A, first surface material strips 2A, and second surface material strips 3A, are supplied from respective supply means to laminating means 130 .
- the first surface material strip 2A is overlaid on one side (first surface) of the elastic member band 5A
- the second surface material strip 3A is overlaid on the other surface (second surface) of the elastic member band 5A.
- a body (multilayer structure) 6A is formed. 6 A of laminated bodies are conveyed by the conveyance direction Dt.
- the elastic member band 5A is stretched in the conveying direction Dt by the stretching means 120, and conveyed in the stretched state, that is, in a state where an external force (tensile force) is applied in the conveying direction Dt.
- a stress (tensile stress) against the external force is generated in the elastic member band 5A.
- both the tensile force and the tensile stress are sometimes referred to as tension.
- the elastic member strip 5A maintains the state in which the first tension t1 is generated (extended state), and the first surface material strip 2A and the second surface material strip 3A (together, the surface material strip (sometimes referred to as obi) are laminated.
- the conveying direction Dt corresponds to the lateral direction D2 of the ear hooking member (ear hooking sheet) 20 to be obtained.
- the first tension t1 of the elastic member band 5A or the degree of elongation of the elastic member band 5A is controlled by the delivery speed of the elastic member band supplying means 123 and the conveying means (not shown).
- the elastic member band 5A is preferably stretched to, for example, 1.5 to 4.0 times, preferably 2.0 to 3.0 times its natural length.
- the first surfacing strip 2A and the second surfacing strip 3A can be conveyed in a state of having a natural length (unstretched state).
- the elongation properties (for example, maximum elongation length, etc.) of the ear hook member 20 can be easily changed. Therefore, it is possible to obtain the ear hook member 20 having different stretch characteristics without changing the material of the stretchable member 5 or the stretchable member band 5A and the material of the surface material or the surface material band.
- the ear hook member 20 can be manufactured according to the requirements.
- the laminate 6A is sent to the joining means 140, where the elastic member band 5A and the first surface material band 2A are joined, and the elastic member band 5A and the second surface material band 3A are joined.
- the bonding is performed by forming discontinuous bonding portions 4, 4, . . . throughout the laminate 6A.
- the bonding by the bonding means 140 is preferably ultrasonic welding, heat welding, or the like.
- the elastic member band 5A and the first surface material band are joined in a state where the elastic member band 5A is under a first tension t1 in the conveying direction Dt (a state in which the elastic member band 5A is stretched in the conveying direction Dt).
- 2A and between the elastic member band 5A and the second surface material band 3A are formed intermittently.
- the reference diameter of one joint 4 in plan view may be 0.2 to 1.0 mm.
- the area of the joints 4, 4, . . . in plan view may be 1.8 to 19.1% of the sheet area.
- the bonded body 8A is sent to subsequent relaxation means 160.
- the tension generated in the conveying direction Dt in the elastic member band 5A is reduced, and a predetermined slack state having a second tension t2 smaller than the initial first tension t1 can be achieved.
- the second tension t2 may be less than the first tension t1, but may be zero (0 ⁇ t2 ⁇ t1). That is, after the joined body 8A passes through the loosening means 160, it may be in a state in which no tension is generated (natural state).
- the length of the elastic member band 5A is shortened in the transport direction Dt.
- the first surfacing strip 2A and the second surfacing strip 3A are non-stretchable and are only joined by intermittently arranged joints 4, 4, . . .
- the degree of tension reduction in the loosening means 160 (the degree of relaxation of the joined body 8A) or the method of adjusting the second tension t2 obtained by the relaxing means 160 is not particularly limited.
- the upstream roll 161 and/or the downstream roll 162 included in the relaxation means 160 may be configured as a roll pair, and the pressure between the rolls included in the roll pair may be changed, or the upstream roll 161 and/or the downstream roll Frictional resistance between 162 and joined body 8A may be changed.
- the tension adjusting member may be configured as a tension adjusting roll 165 as shown in FIG. 7, for example.
- the tension adjusting roll 165 is a member that can adjust the conveying distance of the joined body 8A by changing its position.
- the tension adjustment roll 165 may be movable in any direction (in any direction with respect to the surface direction of the joined body 8A) with respect to the transport direction Dt. Further, the position of the tension adjustment roll 165 after movement may be fixed by bolts or the like.
- the tension adjusting roll 165 moves vertically (perpendicularly to the plane direction of the joined body 8A) and/or left and right (parallel to the plane direction of the joined body 8A) with respect to other members in the loosening means 160. perpendicular to the direction Dt), but preferably at least up and down.
- FIG. 8 shows a schematic enlarged view of the loosening means 160 including the tension adjusting roll 165.
- the tension adjusting roll 165 is arranged between the upstream roll 161 and the downstream roll 162 .
- the joined body 8A is conveyed in a planar shape (substantially straight when viewed from the side) between the upstream roll 161 and the downstream roll 162.
- the tension adjusting roll 165 is positioned lower in the drawing. Therefore, between the upstream roll 161 and the downstream roll 162, the transport locus of the bonded body 8A deviates downward, and the transport distance of the bonded body 8A is increased.
- the relaxation of the stretchable member did not proceed sufficiently within the relaxing means due to the resistance from the surface material and the like.
- FIG. 8B for example, if the conveying distance of the joined body 8A between the upstream roll 161 and the downstream roll 162 is increased, the lengthened distance is sufficient for loosening of the joined body 8A. You can secure time and proceed with relaxation.
- the length of the conveying distance that can be increased by the tension adjustment roll 165 depends on the desired state of relaxation, depending on the configuration of the entire relaxation means 160 (the configuration of the upstream roll 161 and/or the downstream roll 162), the stack upstream of the relaxation means 160 It can be determined in consideration of the configuration of the conveying means for conveying 6A and joined body 8A, the operating speed (the conveying speed of joined body 8A), and the like.
- the tension adjustment rolls provided in the loosening means 160 change the transport locus of the joined body 8A by changing its position. can be changed to include the component of , and the conveying distance can be adjusted. Therefore, without increasing the installation area of the relaxation means 160 (for example, without widening the gap between the upstream roll 161 and the downstream roll 162), it is possible to easily change the conveying distance of the joined body 8A with a compact structure, and eventually, The degree of relaxation of the body 8A can be easily adjusted. Then, the tension applied to the joined body 8A (or the tension occurring in the joined body 8A) at the time of unloading from the loosening means 160, that is, the above-described second tension t2 can be easily adjusted.
- the tension adjusting member may be configured as a belt conveying means and operated while the belt surface of the belt conveying means is in contact with the joined body 8A. In that case, by changing the speed of the belt of the belt conveying means, it is possible to change the relaxed state of the joined body 8A.
- Such belt conveying means is particularly preferable when the second tension t2 is desired to be zero, that is, when the elastic member 5 included in the joined body 8A is desired to have a natural length. If the line conveying speed is excessively high, the elastic member 5 may not be sufficiently loosened by the loosening means 160. In this case, the belt speed of the belt conveying means, the belt surface roughness, etc.
- the speed of the joined body 8A in the loosening means 160 can be slowed down, and the elastic member 5 can be sufficiently loosened.
- the loosening means 160 includes the tension adjusting member as in this embodiment, the loosened state of the joined body 8A can be easily controlled without requiring a complicated configuration.
- the obtained ear hooking sheet band 20A (bonded body 8A) is punched into a predetermined shape, that is, the shape of each ear hooking sheet 20 by the punching means 180.
- a predetermined shape that is, the shape of each ear hooking sheet 20 by the punching means 180.
- a plurality of ear hooking sheets 20, 20, . . . can be obtained.
- the ear hooking sheet band 20A may remain in the predetermined loosened state loosened by the loosening means 160.
- the ear hooking sheet band 20A may be conveyed to the punching means 180 and punched into a predetermined shape while maintaining the predetermined loosened state loosened by the loosening means 160.
- punching may be performed while maintaining the second tension t2 reduced from the first tension t1.
- the second tension t2 obtained after passing through the loosening means 160 is relatively high, that is, when the tension of the ear hooking sheet band 20A is not significantly reduced, the relaxed state is maintained.
- the ear hooking sheet 20 shrinks in the conveying direction Dt (the lateral direction D2 in the mask), and its shape and dimensions are changed. changes. Therefore, it is possible to obtain the ear hook member 20 having a smaller dimension at least in the lateral direction D2.
- the second tension t2 is set to zero, i.e., when the tension applied to the ear hook sheet band 20A is released (natural state), punching is performed while maintaining the relaxed state.
- the shape of the ear hooking sheet 20 obtained is the same or almost the same as that immediately after the punching process. Therefore, by changing the relaxed state obtained by the loosening means 160, it is possible to manufacture ear hook members 20 having different shapes and dimensions, and thus different usability, even with the same punching die. That is, it is possible to easily change the design of the ear hook member 20 .
- the punching means 180 are sent to the mask member combining device 200.
- the mask member combining device 200 the ear hooking sheet 20 and the mask body 10 are combined.
- the manufacture of the mask 1 (FIGS. 1-5) including the auxiliary materials 30, 30 will be described.
- the auxiliary material strip 30A is arranged on one surface of the ear hook sheet 20 obtained by the ear hook member manufacturing apparatus 100. As shown in FIG. Thereafter, the ear hooking sheet 20 and the auxiliary material band 30A are joined by heat sealing or the like to form the inner joints 60, 60 (FIG. 1, etc.). Further, the mask body band 10A, which will later become the mask body 10, is supplied from the mask body band supply means 221 on the side opposite to the side on which the auxiliary material band 30A is arranged. Then, the auxiliary material band 30A and the mask body band 10A are joined by heat sealing or the like to form the outer joints 50, 50 (FIG. 1, etc.).
- individual masks 1 can be obtained by, for example, a cutting step using the cutting means 190. Cutting can also be performed at the same time as joining the ear hooking sheet 20 and the mask body band 10A.
- the ear hooking sheet 20 when the ear hooking sheet 20 is combined with the mask body band 10A, the ear hooking sheet 20 is joined to the mask body band 10A in a state where the ear hooking sheet 20 is tensioned in the lateral direction D2. can do.
- the ear hook sheet 20 obtained by punching by the punching means 180 of the mask ear hook member manufacturing apparatus 100 is stretched in the lateral direction D2. are fixed at both ends (upstream and downstream in the conveying direction Dt), and the ear hooking portion sheet 20 is conveyed from both ends in the lateral direction D2 while being pulled so that the length in the lateral direction D2 becomes longer, and the ear hooking portion sheet 20 is conveyed to the mask body. It can be overlapped and joined to the band 10A (FIG. 7).
- the ear hook sheet band 20A is conveyed and the mask main body is It can also be arranged and joined to the band 10A.
- the ear hook sheet 20 having a third tension t3 different from the second tension t2, i.e., having a third tension t3 larger or smaller than the second tension is attached to the mask body band 10A while maintaining the third tension t3. May be joined.
- FIG. 9 is a plan view of a mask 1' obtained by bonding the ear hooking sheet 20 to the mask body band 10A while the ear hooking sheet 20 is tensioned in the lateral direction D2 as described above.
- FIG. 9(a) shows the state before the start of use of the mask 1'.
- the ear hooking sheet 20 of the mask 1' before use is tensioned in the lateral direction D2.
- the detachable connecting portion 28 is separated, and the pair of ear hook portions 20a, 20a are separated while the mask is placed on a flat surface.
- the dimension in the lateral direction D2 of the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a becomes smaller, and the ends of the pair of ear hooks 20a, 20a on the center side in the lateral direction D2 are separated from each other. Then, the ear hook portions 20a, 20a having relatively small dimensions with respect to the mask main body 10 appear.
- tension in the lateral direction D2 in the ear hook members 20 of the mask before use can be determined, for example, by placing the mask on a flat surface and comparing the pair of ear hook parts 20a, 20a before use.
- the total length in the lateral direction D2 (the length in the lateral direction D2 of the ear hook sheet 20) and the width of the pair of ear hook portions 20a, 20a after the pair of ear hook portions 20a, 20a are separated from each other at the connecting portion 28 Comparing with the total length in the direction D2, it can be confirmed that the latter is smaller.
- a mask 1′ as shown in FIG. 9 is suitable for users who want to make the size of the mask body 10 large, but want the size of the ear hooks 20a, 20a to be smaller so that they fit their ears. be.
- the mask manufacturing method according to this embodiment must be used. Normally, the joining position of the ear hooking sheet 20 to the mask body 10 is located near the center in the lateral direction D2, and there is a possibility that the mask body 10 as a whole cannot be used when worn.
- the manufacturing process becomes complicated.
- the mask manufacturing method according to the present embodiment even if the dimensions of the ear hooking sheet 20 are changed, the joining position between the ear hooking sheet 20 and the mask main body 10 is not changed, or The desired configuration can be obtained with little modification.
- this embodiment can also be a mask 1'' that does not include the auxiliary materials 30, 30.
- the ear hooking sheet 20 and the mask body band 10A are directly overlapped, and the ear hooking sheet 20 and the mask body 10 are separated at both ends of the ear hooking sheet 20 in the lateral direction D2. can be joined.
- An aspect according to Supplementary Note 1 is a method for manufacturing an ear hook member for a mask, wherein a stretchable member is stretched so as to generate tension in a predetermined direction, and at least one of the stretchable members is stretched while maintaining the tension.
- a non-stretchable surface material is layered on the surface, the stretchable member and the surface material are joined to obtain a bonded body, and the bonded body is relaxed in the predetermined direction to reduce the tension to a predetermined level. setting the joint body in a relaxed state, and punching the joined body in the predetermined relaxed state into a predetermined shape.
- the material of the ear hook member includes a stretchable member and a non-stretchable surface material arranged on at least one surface of the stretchable member.
- the stretchable member is stretched so as to generate tension in a predetermined direction, and while maintaining the tension, the surface material is placed on the stretchable member, and the two are joined together. Therefore, by adjusting the tension generated in the elastic member (adjusting the degree of elongation of the elastic member), it is possible to obtain different elastic characteristics (maximum elongation length) with the same material without changing the material of the ear hook member.
- the ear hook member can be manufactured easily.
- the bonded body of the stretchable member and the surface material is relaxed into a predetermined relaxed state, and the bonded body in the predetermined relaxed state is punched into a predetermined shape. Therefore, by adjusting the relaxed state of the bonded body during punching (adjusting the degree of reduction in the tension of the elastic member), it is possible to use the same punching die with different configurations (size, shape, use) without changing the punching die. feeling, etc.) can be manufactured.
- the loosened state of the tension can be adjusted steplessly without requiring a complicated procedure.
- the tension adjusting member includes a roll capable of pushing down or pushing up the joined body.
- the loosened state of the joined body can be easily adjusted by using a relatively simple roll as the tension adjusting member.
- the stretchable member has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the first surface material is overlapped on the first surface while maintaining the tension. and overlaying a second surface material on the second surface, joining the elastic member and the first surface material, and joining the elastic member and the second surface material.
- the surface material is arranged on both sides of the stretchable member, so that it is possible to manufacture an ear hook member that gives a comfortable feel to the touch of either side.
- An aspect according to Supplementary Note 5 is an apparatus for manufacturing an ear hook member for a mask, which includes an extending means for extending the elastic member so as to generate tension in a predetermined direction, and the elastic member while maintaining the tension. laminating means for overlapping a non-stretchable surface material on at least one surface of the; joining means for forming a joined body by joining the elastic member and the surface material; and joining the joined body in the predetermined direction and a punching means for punching out the joined body in the predetermined relaxed state into a predetermined shape.
- the mask ear hook member is manufactured by the mask ear hook member manufacturing method according to any one of claims 1 to 4, and the mask ear hook member is positioned at the center in the lateral direction.
- an ear hook sheet including a pair of ear hooks separably coupled to each other with the ear hook sheet placed on the mask body and joined to the mask body at both ends in the lateral direction of the ear hook sheet including doing
- the ear hooking member when manufacturing a mask having a relatively large lateral dimension of the mask body using the ear hooking sheet of the same size, the ear hooking member (ear hooking sheet)
- the mask can be manufactured without changing the joining position between the mask and the mask body. For example, if the ear hook sheet is stretched in the horizontal direction and joined to the mask body according to the horizontal dimension of the mask body, the horizontal ends of the ear hook sheet can be aligned with the horizontal ends of the mask body. It can be joined to the part. Moreover, it is not necessary to change the form of the ear hooking member (ear hooking sheet) into a form in which the pair of ear hooking parts are separated from each other.
- the pair of ear hooks included in the ear hook sheet are separated from each other at the center in the lateral direction at the start of use. Disappear.
- the pair of ear hook members contract in the lateral direction by the amount of the lost tension and are laterally separated from each other, and the lateral dimension of the pair of ear hook parts becomes smaller than it appears before the start of use. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a mask in which the lateral dimension of the ear hook portion is relatively small compared to the lateral dimension of the mask body.
- An aspect according to appendix 8 is an ear hook sheet including a mask main body and a pair of ear hook parts joined to both ends in the horizontal direction of the mask main body and separably joined to each other at the center in the horizontal direction. and wherein tension is generated in the lateral direction in the ear hook sheet.
- a mode according to appendix 9 is an ear hook sheet including a mask body and a pair of ear hooks joined to both ends in the horizontal direction of the mask body and separably joined to each other at the center in the horizontal direction. wherein when the pair of joined ear hooks are separated while the mask body is placed on a flat surface, the separated ends of the pair of ear hooks are separated from each other.
