로봇을 제어하기 위한 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 양태에 따르면, 본 방법은 로봇에 의해 수행되는 로봇 동작의 작업 유형에 관한 정보를 수신하는 단계, 수신된 로봇 동작의 작업 유형에 관한 정보에 기초하여 로봇 동작의 워크플로우(workflow)를 생성하는 단계, 로봇을 제어하여 로봇 동작의 작업 유형 및 워크플로우에 따라 로봇 동작이 수행되는 작업 환경에 관한 정보를 측정하는 단계, 로봇을 제어하여 로봇 동작의 작업 유형 및 워크플로우에 따라 로봇 동작에 관한 작업 정보를 수신하는 단계, 및 측정된 작업 환경에 관한 정보 및 수신된 로봇 동작에 관한 작업 정보에 기초하여 로봇을 제어하여 로봇 동작의 작업 유형 및 워크플로우에 따라 로봇 동작을 수행하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
