Abstract
Description
連動ブレーキにおける、ブレーキ連動時では、イコライザによって前輪及び後輪にブレーキ力を付与するため、1つのブレーキのみに制動力を付与する従来のリヤブレーキに比べ、制動により大きな力が必要になる。この場合に、ブレーキの操作フィーリングを悪化させたくないため、乗員がブレーキペダルの操作フィーリングを、従来のリヤブレーキの操作フィーリングと同様なものにしたいという要求がある。対策として、後輪ブレーキ作動量に対するブレーキペダルの操作量のレシオを変更させることが考えられるが、ブレーキペダルの操作量を変えずに、レシオを低下させようとすると、後輪ブレーキのストローク量が増え、後輪ブレーキの遊びが大きくなることがある。
反対側の側面の面取部は、長方形の短辺と平行な中心線からHの位置で、且つ、長方形の長辺と平行な中心線からXの位置で面取りされており、0<H<((D/2)-(T/2))で且つ、0<X<(T/2)となるように設定されることを特徴とする。
図1に示されるように、鞍乗型車両の一形態である自動二輪車10の前部に、フロントフォーク11が斜め前下方へ延びており、このフロントフォーク11の下端に前輪13が回転自在に取付けられ、この前輪13に前輪ブレーキ15が設けられる。この前輪ブレーキ15は、前輪13に制動力(ブレーキ力)を付与するものである。
図2に示されるように、後輪ブレーキ16は、車輪と共に回転するブレーキドラム43の内周面43iに接触するように設けられブレーキドラム43に制動力をかける一対のブレーキシュー45、46と、これらの一対のブレーキシュー45、46の一端を回転自在に支持するアンカーピン47と、一対のブレーキシュー45、46の他端間に介在され、一側の方向に回転したときに当接する正転方向当接面51、51を有し、一対のブレーキシュー45、46に当接しながら一対のブレーキシュー45、46をアンカーピン47回りに拡開するカム60と、一対のブレーキシュー45、46の間に一対のブレーキシュー45、46が互いに引き合うように渡されるばね61、62とを主要素とする。
図3に示されるように、カム60は、その両側に形成されている側部60a、60aが一対のブレーキシュー45、46に接触している。側部60a、60aがブレーキシュー45、46に接触している理由は、図2に示されるように、一対のブレーキシュー45、46の間に渡されるばね61、62(図2参照)が、ブレーキシュー45、46の間を狭くする方向に付勢しているためである。
図5に示されるように、カム60は図矢印a方向の一側の方向に回転したときに、第1正転方向当接面53が第1ブレーキシュー45の当たり面55に当たり、第2正転方向当接面54が第2ブレーキシュー46の当たり面56に当たり、第1ブレーキシュー45と第2ブレーキシュー46を拡開する。ブレーキ力が作用しているとき、第1ブレーキシュー45の当たり面55と第2ブレーキシュー46の当たり面56の間の間隔はL2(L1<L2)になる。

前記カムは、前記一方に回転したときに前記ブレーキシューに当たる側面と、前記カムが他方に回転したときに前記ブレーキシューに当たる反対側の側面とを有し、
前記反対側の側面に、前記カムが他方に回転したときに前記ブレーキシューの拡開量を減らす面取部を有することを特徴とする車両用前後連動ブレーキ装置。 - 前記カムは、長辺をDとし、短辺をTとする断面長方形であり、
前記反対側の側面の面取部は、前記長方形の短辺と平行な中心線からHの位置で、且つ、前記長方形の長辺と平行な中心線からXの位置で面取りされており、
