Definitions
- the present invention relates to a steering force control device, and in particular, allows a driver to feel a more linear steering feeling.
- the steering assist motor is used when the steering wheel is in the neutral position (straight-running state) in order to improve fuel efficiency.
- the supplied current is 0.
- the steering assist motor is stopped near the neutral position. Therefore, the motor torque is controlled by raising the current value from 0 after the steering angle is generated. For this reason, the intervention timing of the steering assist force is delayed, and when the vehicle is steered from the straight traveling state, the steering at the start-up becomes heavy.
- the detected physical quantity is the angular velocity, so the timing until the steering assist force intervenes compared to the control based on the steering angle. You can speed up.
- the control is performed at the angular velocity, in a region where the lateral acceleration applied to the vehicle is large and the steering speed is high, the steering assist becomes excessive and the steering feeling becomes too light.
- the steering assist force is easily set to be weak and the countermeasure is taken, the steering sense becomes heavier when the large steering assist force is required.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a steering force control device.
- one aspect of the present invention detects a first physical quantity, a second physical quantity, and a third physical quantity that are generated in a vehicle, and is set based on the first physical quantity and the third physical quantity.
- a primary control matrix and a secondary control matrix set based on the second physical quantity and the third physical quantity are prepared, and a first control matrix obtained by referring to the primary control matrix based on the first physical quantity and the third physical quantity is prepared.
- a control quantity for assisting steering is obtained, and steering is performed based on the control quantity.
- the steering assist force control unit that generates the steering assist force in the system is controlled.
- a sub control matrix is provided in addition to the main control matrix, and the first output value obtained from the main control matrix is corrected with the second output value obtained from the sub control matrix.

That is, one value of the right side of the above calculation formula is determined in the main control matrix M1 based on the steering angular velocity ⁇ and the vehicle speed V, and the other value on the right side of the circular seat is determined in the sub control matrix M2 based on the steering angle ⁇ and the vehicle speed V. The value is determined, and the auxiliary assist force F is determined using these two values.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram showing specific examples of numerical values of the main control matrix M1 and the sub control matrix M2.
- the main control matrix M1 is a map set by the steering angular velocity ⁇ and the vehicle speed V
- the sub control matrix M2 is the steering angle. It is a map set by ⁇ and vehicle speed V.
- the main control matrix M1 sets the steering angular velocity ⁇ to 7 levels from 0 to 3L, and sets the vehicle speed V to 7 levels from 0, 5, 20, 40, 80, 120, 160 (km / h). It is composed of 49 cells.
- the sub control matrix M2 is also configured by 49 cells by setting the steering angle ⁇ and the vehicle speed V to 7 levels.
- the main control matrix M1 sets the value of each cell relatively freely in accordance with the steering angular velocity ⁇ and the vehicle speed V at that time, similarly to the conventional technique that uses the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone. Yes. For this reason, there is a place where there is a difference of 2 times or 3 times even between cells which are slanted vertically and horizontally.
- the characteristic based on the steering angular velocity ⁇ shown in the main control matrix M1 is set so that a large steering assist force is generated when a large operation is performed because of the rapid turning.
- the value of each cell is set to one of “1.0” and “0.9”, and the cell in which “1.0” is set , “0.9” is set such that the area is divided from the lower left to the upper right with a boundary line running diagonally from the lower left to the upper right. For this reason, the value of each cell in the sub control matrix M2 is set so that the values of adjacent cells match or the difference is small (“0.1”, the ratio is about 10%). Yes.
- the corrected values are linearly connected to the surrounding values. That is, as indicated by an arrow in the main control matrix M1 in FIG. 5, when the numerical values change between the cells, the numerical values are linearly changed when the numerical values change, or It is connected linearly by logarithm, exponent, and moving average.

- step S120 the process proceeds to step S120, and a steering command signal x1 (first output value) is obtained with reference to the main control matrix M1 based on the steering angular velocity ⁇ and the vehicle speed V. - the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone A characteristic B ′ indicating characteristics when the steering assist force is made small over the entire area in the control used in FIG. 5, and a characteristic C indicating characteristics when the steering angle ⁇ and the steering angular velocity ⁇ are switched and used for the control.
- the characteristic D which shows the ideal characteristic achieved by the steering force control in this embodiment is shown, respectively.
- the characteristic A in the control using the steering angle ⁇ alone, the start-up of the steering assist force is delayed in the region P where the steering angle ⁇ is small. The feeling becomes heavy.
- the characteristic B in the control using the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone, the steering assist force becomes excessive in the region Q where the steering angular velocity ⁇ is large, and the driver's steering feeling becomes light.
- the characteristic B ′ if the steering assist force is made small over the entire area in the control using the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone, the driver's steering feeling becomes heavy throughout the whole area.
- the change does not go well in the scene of the change of the vehicle speed V, the subtle difference of the operation input, the disturbance input, and the ideal. It deviated in some places from typical characteristics.
- the control in the region P, the control is dominant by the steering angular velocity ⁇ , so that the start-up is not delayed and the steering feeling becomes light. Further, when the steering angular velocity ⁇ exceeds the M level, a correction based on the value obtained from the sub control matrix M2 is added, so that the steering assist force is corrected to be reduced, and the driver's steering feeling becomes too light. Can be avoided. For this reason, an ideal characteristic D is obtained over the entire cornering characteristic of the vehicle.
- the steering angular velocity sensor 42 that detects the steering angular velocity ⁇ corresponds to the first detection unit
- the steering angle sensor 43 that detects the steering angle ⁇ corresponds to the second detection unit, and detects the vehicle speed V.
- the vehicle speed sensor 41 that corresponds to the third detector corresponds to the control amount calculator
- the processing of step S120 corresponds to the control amount calculator
- the processing of step S140 corresponds to the steering assist force controller
- the cornering characteristics of the vehicle When lateral acceleration is used, the acceleration sensor that detects the lateral acceleration corresponds to the lateral acceleration detection unit, and when the yaw rate is used as the cornering characteristic of the vehicle, the sensor that detects the yaw rate corresponds to the yaw rate detection unit. .
- FIG. 11 is a flowchart illustrating an example in which when the steering angular velocity ⁇ exceeds the threshold ⁇ th1, it is determined that the vehicle is in the emergency avoidance traveling state, and the control is switched to the control using the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone.
- step S125 it is determined whether or not the steering angular velocity ⁇ exceeds the threshold value ⁇ th1. If this determination is “NO”, the flow proceeds to step S130. However, if the determination in step S125 is “YES”, step S130 is skipped and the process proceeds to step S140 to execute control using the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone. As a result, the emergency avoidance response can be improved.
- FIG. 12 is a flowchart illustrating an example in which when the steering angular velocity ⁇ is smaller than the threshold value ⁇ th2, it is determined that the steering is rising, and the control is switched to the control using the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone. That is, when the processes of step S100, step S110, and step S120 are completed, the process proceeds to step S125, and it is determined whether or not the steering angular velocity ⁇ is smaller than the threshold value ⁇ th2. If this determination is “NO”, the flow proceeds to step S130. However, if the determination in step S125 is “YES”, step S130 is skipped and the process proceeds to step S140 to execute control using the steering angular velocity ⁇ alone. As a result, the responsiveness at the start of steering can be improved.
- This embodiment has the following effects. (1) A steering angular velocity ⁇ , a steering angle ⁇ , and a vehicle speed V generated in the vehicle are detected, and set based on the main control matrix M1 set based on the steering angular velocity ⁇ and the vehicle speed V, and the steering angle ⁇ and the vehicle speed V.
- the sub-control matrix M2 is used, and the power steering device is controlled by obtaining the control amount for steering assistance using the two matrices M1 and M2.
- a linear steering feeling can be given to the driver.
- each cell constituting the sub control matrix M2 is set so that the values of adjacent cells match or the result of subtracting the values of adjacent cells gradually increases or decreases. Therefore, the linear steering feeling as described above can be reliably achieved.
- a part of the plurality of cells adjacent to the one cell constituting the sub control matrix M2 in the vertical and horizontal directions is the same value as the value of the one cell. Since the result of subtraction with respect to the value of the one cell gradually increases or decreases, a more linear steering feeling can be achieved.
- the steering angle ⁇ , the steering angular velocity ⁇ , the lateral acceleration, the lateral acceleration change rate, the yaw rate, the yaw rate change rate, the driven wheel rotation left / right wheel difference, and the vehicle roll amount can be applied.
- the second physical quantity if one of the steering angle ⁇ , the steering angular velocity ⁇ , the lateral acceleration, the lateral acceleration change rate, the yaw rate, the yaw rate change rate, the driven wheel rotation left / right wheel difference, and the vehicle roll amount is applied. Therefore, it is possible to suppress an increase in cost by using various sensors mounted on the vehicle.
- the vehicle speed V is applied as the third physical quantity, necessary information can be acquired from the vehicle speed sensor 41 provided in a normal vehicle, which is advantageous for cost reduction.
- the steering force control device Since the first physical quantity is one of the steering angle and the steering angular speed, the second physical quantity is the other of the steering angle and the steering angular speed, and the third physical quantity is the vehicle speed, the steering force control device is realized in a normal vehicle. It is a suitable combination. (7) When it can be determined from the steering angular velocity ⁇ , the lateral acceleration, the yaw rate, etc. that the vehicle is in an emergency avoidance traveling state, the control amount may be obtained directly from either the steering angle or the steering angular velocity. Therefore, advantageous control for emergency avoidance is executed.

Abstract
Description
F=f(dθ/dt)×f(T)
