Abstract

 本発明は、高級アルコールを含まずに極めて安全性が高く、かつ、人工硬膜や人工血管等の柔軟性が求められる医療用インプラントを作製するのに有用である柔軟な医療用インプラント用ラクチド/ε−カプロラクトン共重合体を提供することを目的とする。また、該共重合体の製造方法や、該共重合体を用いてなる医療用インプラント、人工硬膜を提供することを目的とする。 本発明は、医療用インプラント用途に用いるためのラクチドとε‐カプロラクトンとの共重合体であって、ラクチドとε‐カプロラクトンとのモル比(ラクチド/ε‐カプロラクトン)が40/60~60/40、重量平均分子量が100,000~500,000以下であり、かつ、高級アルコール成分を含有せず、加熱溶融して成形体としたときの結晶に由来する融解エンタルピーが10J/g以下であるラクチド/ε−カプロラクトン共重合体である。
