Abstract

 本発明は、触媒の存在下で塩化水素を酸素により酸化して塩素を製造する方法等に使用可能な、銅元素、アルカリ金属元素、および希土類元素を含有する活性に優れる触媒を提供することを目的とする。本発明の触媒は、銅元素、アルカリ金属元素、および希土類元素を含有する触媒であって、前記触媒の細孔直径が5~15nmの範囲において、0.4~2.0ml/gの細孔容積を有することを特徴とする。
