Abstract

【課題】 ホイールローダ等の作業車両において、必要なけん引力を維持しつつ、より燃料の消費量を低減を図るとともに、エンジン停止に至ることのない変速を行えるようにするための装置である。制御手段は、変速用操作子によって作業時に適合した速度段(「前進」、「2速」)が選択された場合に、車速の低下に応じて、モジュレーションクラッチが係合されるとともに、ロックアップクラッチが係合されたロックアップ状態から、ロックアップクラッチが係合されたままモジュレーションクラッチが滑っているロックアップおよびモジュレーションクラッチ滑り状態に移行させる。つぎに、制御手段は、車速の低下に応じて、ロックアップクラッチおよびモジュレーションクラッチが滑っている両クラッチ滑り状態に移行させ、さらに、この両クラッチ滑り状態を経て、モジュレーションクラッチが係合されるとともにロックアップクラッチが開放されたトルクコンバータ作動状態に移行させるクラッチ制御を行なう。
