アクセル操作量θ及び車速vに基づき車両の走行に必要な出力たる要求出力RTを決定し、この要求出力RTを決定した時点で、該時点の電動機たるモータジェネレータ2から出力可能な最大出力MTよりも要求出力RTが大きい場合に、前記モータジェネレータ2の出力を出力可能最大出力MTとし、前記要求出力RTと前記出力可能最大出力MTとの差をエンジン出力ETとして決定する制御を行う。
