ステップS8では、エンジン1及び変速機6aに対する最適燃費制御を行う。具体的には、前記エンジン出力ETをパラメータとしてスロットル開度θ及び減速比を決定し、開度制御信号gを電動スロットル15に、また、減速比制御信号hを変速機6aにそれぞれ出力する。その後、ステップS9に進む。なお、スロットル開度θ及び減速比の決定については、まず、図5に示す最適燃費マップを参照し、エンジン出力ETを出力するための最も燃費率のよいエンジン回転数と負荷との組み合わせを決定する。さらに詳述すると、この最適燃費マップは、代表的なエンジン出力に対して最も燃費率のよいエンジン回転数と負荷との組み合わせを記憶しているものである。この最適燃費マップに記憶しているエンジン回転数‐負荷の組み合わせは、前記図5においては線Lとして示している。そして、補間計算により実際のエンジン回転数及び負荷を決定し、エンジン回転数がここで決定した回転数となるように減速比を制御するとともに、負荷がここで決定した負荷となるようにスロットル開度を制御する、従来の最適燃費制御として周知の制御を同様に行う。
ステップS109では、前記要求出力RTが出力可能最大出力MTより大きいか否かを判定する。前記要求出力RTが出力可能最大出力MTより大きい場合には、ステップS110に進む。そうでない場合には、ステップS118に進む。
ステップS112では、エンジン1及び変速機6aに対する最適燃費制御を行う。具体的には、前記エンジン出力ETをパラメータとしてスロットル開度及び減速比を決定し、開度制御信号gを電動スロットル15に、また、減速比制御信号hを変速機6aにそれぞれ出力する。その後ステップS113に進む。なお、このステップS112で行う制御は、第一実施形態のステップS7で行う制御と全く同一である。

アクセル操作量及び車速に基づき車両の走行に必要な出力を求め、
この出力を求めた時点で、この出力が該時点で前記電動機から出力可能な最大の出力よりも大きい場合に、
電動機から出力可能な最大の出力を電動機出力として決定するとともに、前記出力とこの電動機出力との差をエンジン出力として決定することを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御方法。 - 前記電動機から出力可能な最大の出力を、蓄電手段の充電量及び電動機の温度に基づき決定することを特徴とする請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
- 吸気系に電動スロットルを設けたエンジンと、電力を蓄積可能な蓄電手段と、この蓄電手段に蓄積された電力により動作する電動機とを有するハイブリッド車両に用いられ、前記蓄電手段が車両外部より供給される電力を蓄積可能なものであって、
アクセル操作量及び車速に基づき車両の走行に必要な出力を求め、
この出力が前記電動機の運転効率が最大となる出力よりも大きい場合に、
前記電動機の運転効率が最大となる出力を電動機出力として決定するとともに、前記車両の走行に必要な出力とこの電動機出力との差をエンジン出力として決定することを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御方法。 - 電動機から出力可能な最大の出力を、蓄電手段の充電量及び電動機の温度に基づき決定し、電動機から出力可能な最大の出力が前記電動機の運転効率が最大となる出力より小さい場合は電動機から出力可能な最大の出力を電動機出力として決定することを特徴とする請求項3記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
- 変速機を具備する伝達系を介してエンジンの駆動力を駆動軸に出力するものであって、決定されたエンジン出力を得るために最も効率のよいエンジン回転数及び吸気圧を実現すべく前記エンジン出力をパラメータとして前記電動スロットルの開度及び前記変速機の減速比を決定することを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4記載のハイブリッド車両の制御方法。
