Abstract

 多気筒内燃機関の吸気マニホルドMは、吸気集合室11を形成する集合部10と、吸気分岐路22を形成する分岐部20とを備える。集合部10は、吸気集合室11を構成する第1,第2空間11a,11bを第1,第2ケースA,Bが結合されて構成される。第1,第2ケースA,Bには隅部31a,31bが一体成形される。第2ケースBには、第1,第2ケースA,B内に渡って延びて隅部31a,31bの内面31a1,31b1を覆って整流部40が配置される。整流部40は、内面31a1,31b1に比べて吸気を円滑に案内する案内面44を有する。整流部40と隅部31a,31bとにより吸気集合室11に連通する背後空間47が形成される。かかる構造により、分割構造の吸気マニホルドの集合部の隅部の形状に無関係に、吸気集合室での吸気の流れを円滑にして体積効率の向上を図り、さらに整流部により形成される背後空間を利用して吸気集合室での圧力変動の抑制を図ることができる。
