Abstract

 本発明は、負極と正極との間に耐熱層を有する非水系電解質二次電池を急速充電することを目的とする。本発明は、負極と正極との間に耐熱層を有する非水系電解質二次電池を充電するための方法において、前記二次電池にパルス充電を行うステップと、前記非水系電解質の濃度分極の変化に伴うセル電圧の変化量を分極電圧として検出するステップと、前記分極電圧が予め定める閾値以上となると、前記パルス充電を終了するステップとを含むことを特徴とする。本発明によれば、負極と正極との間に耐熱層を有する非水系電解質二次電池を過充電とならないぎりぎりのレベルで急速充電することが可能となる。
