Definitions
- the invention relates to a sample container for receiving body fluids, tissue parts or tissue cultures, with a receptacle, a closure lid, a coupling device arranged therebetween with coupling elements and a tamper-evident device, as described in the preamble of claim 1.
- US Pat. No. 4,736,859 A describes a sample container having a receptacle, a closure lid, a threaded arrangement arranged between the receptacle and the closure lid and a tamper-evident device arranged therebetween.
- the closure cap After filling the receiving space with the sample, the closure cap is screwed over the threaded arrangement on the receptacle and thereby activates the originality assurance device, which is designed such that it is no longer possible to unscrew without destroying the receptacle and / or closure cap.
- Access to the sample is made possible by means of nozzles provided in the area of the closure cap. For this purpose, the end wall of the nozzle is pierced or separate, so as to allow access to the receiving space.
- the tamper-evident device is formed by teeth or ramp-shaped projections or projections which engage with one another.
- US Pat. No. 7,243,807 B2 or US 2005/0040131 A1 discloses a sample container comprising a receptacle, a closure lid which can be screwed onto the receptacle by means of a thread arrangement, and a tamper-evident device formed in the region of the lid jacket of the closure lid.
- the closure lid has on the end facing the receptacle pawl-shaped teeth, which cooperate with diametrically opposed teeth on the receptacle in the screwed-on position of the closure lid on the receptacle.
- a tear strip with a handle piece arranged thereon is further arranged between a cap-shaped part of the closure lid and an annular part of the lid jacket.
- a hinge is arranged between the cap-shaped lid and the annular part of the lid jacket in order, after the removal of the tear strip, to move the cap-shaped lid away from the receptacle swing. Only after removal of the tear strip access into the receiving space of the sample container by folding away the cap-shaped closure lid is possible, wherein the annular part of the lid jacket remains bolted to the collar of the receptacle.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a sample container and a method for providing such, in which up to the first use a germ-free or sterile state of delivery is guaranteed. In addition, however, a manipulation of the sample should be displayed before their investigation.
- the tamper-evident device on the receptacle is formed by at least one flange-shaped extension arranged at least partially in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and by a band-shaped element formed continuously and contiguously over the circumference of the closure lid is formed, which is detachably connected in a predetermined separation plane with the cover shell and that at least one, but preferably several, first locking elements are arranged on the band-shaped element on its side facing the receptacle, which in the standby position, the flange-shaped extension on the from an open end of Receptacle receptacle side behind and on its side facing the receptacle side at least one, but preferably a plurality of second locking elements are arranged, which in the standby position the flanschf on the inlet to the open end of the receptacle turned-side engage behind shaped extension.
- the sample container is designed such that can be dispensed with the additional packaging. This saves not only packaging material but also the manipulation effort for the lowered preparation for introducing the sample into a sterile or germ-free receiving space.
- environmental considerations are also taken into account as packaging material and energy requirements are eliminated.
- the sterile or germ-free delivery state of the receiving space is achieved by the arrangement of the tamper-evident device between the receptacle and the closure lid.
- the already assembled delivery state of the receiving container with the closure lid and the elimination of the packaging material result in a lower packing volume, whereby a higher delivery density of sample containers than before can be achieved with the same shipping package sizes. This is achieved by the otherwise packed air volume.
- This also leads to advantages in terms of sterilization, storage and transport.
- this makes it possible to create a safe-acting tamper-evident device by simple means. In this case, complicated tools for the production of the receptacle can be avoided.
- the band-shaped element an optically clearly recognizable element is thus created, which gives a safe inference to the state of the receiving space of the sample container.
- the first latching element in cooperation with the flange-shaped extension forms a positive coupling device.
- This causes a first-time removal of the closure cap from the receptacle destruction of the tamper-evident device, whereby the desired display effect is created for a user of such a sample container.
- the second locking elements By the second locking elements, a secure retention on the receptacle is achieved even after the separation of the band-shaped element. As a result, additional or loose parts are avoided, thus ensuring a simple and safe operation of the entire sample container.
- a uniform force application for the detachment of the band-shaped element in the region of the predetermined parting plane is achieved.
- a certain adjustment movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis is made possible, without any immediate activation of the tamper-evident device being achieved.
- the invention also relates to a method for providing a sample container for receiving body fluids, tissue parts or tissue cultures in a sterile or germ-free receiving space, as described in the preamble of claim 11.
- the object of the invention is achieved with the features specified in the method, characterized in that the closure lid arranged thereon and over the circumference of the same continuously and coherently formed band-shaped element which forms part of a tamper-evident device, as long screwed onto the receptacle until a joining position is achieved, in which the band-shaped element on a. Flanged extension on an open end of the
- the advantages resulting from the combination of features of the characterizing part of this claim are that when the sample container is assembled in its joining position, the receiving space is enclosed, but the originality assurance device is not yet activated.
- the sample container In order to signal to the user or end user that the entire sample container is still in the sterile or germ-free state, the sample container is completely enclosed by an additional envelope.
- This application is advantageous, for example, if a sterile or germ-free sample container is to be provided for the intake of body fluids, such as urine. After the removal of the additional wrapping, the closure lid can then be removed therefrom, starting from its joining position, and then the sample is filled into the sterile or germ-free receiving space.
- the closure cap is placed completely on the receptacle and thus the tamper-evident device is activated.
- the cap is removed from the receptacle, thereby destroying the tamper-evident device. If the tamper-evident device is already destroyed before the sample is removed, this will be an indication that a possible manipulation of the sample might have occurred.
- even the receiving space before filling is always sealed, even if the cap is not completely or completely attached.
- a procedure according to the features specified in claim 14 is advantageous because it can be achieved in a simple manner a secure optical control or display of the state of the receiving space for the user. If the lid is removed once from the receptacle, while the sterile or germ-free state of the receiving space is no longer given, which is obviously indicated by the separated warranty strip.
- an embodiment according to claim 16 is advantageous, since a secure seal is also ensured over a certain opening stroke, starting from the ready position towards the joining position or shortly before the closure cap is removed from the receptacle.

- This tamper-evident device 19 can be designed differently, in which case only one of many possibilities has been presented and described.
- a part of the tamper-evident device 19 is formed on the receptacle 2 by at least one flange-shaped extension 20 arranged at least in some regions around the circumference in a plane aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 7.
- This flange-shaped extension 20 can be formed, for example, only partially over the circumference of the receptacle 2 or completely continuous. In order to achieve a better interaction with other parts of the tamper-evident device 19, it is advantageous if the flange-shaped extension 20 is projecting on the direction away from the end face 10 of the receptacle 2.
- this flange-shaped extension projects beyond the collar 12 or the container wall 13 to the side or direction averted from the longitudinal axis 7.
- the flange-shaped extension 20 extends from the collar 12 to the outside, ie on the side facing away from the interior 17 side , as well as on the side facing away from the open end 8 and the end face 10 - so down.

- This application can come into play, for example, if for the reception of body fluids, such as urine, a sterile or germ-free held sample container 1 should be provided.
- the closure lid 3 can then be removed therefrom, starting from its joining position, from the receiving container 2 and then the sample to be accommodated in the receiving space 18 can be filled into it.
- the closure lid 3 is placed completely on the receiving container 2 and thus the originality assurance device 19 is activated.
- the closure lid 3 is relative to the receptacle 2 again in the ready position described above. If the closure lid 3 is now removed from the receptacle 2, the originality assurance device 19 is destroyed, which indicates that, for example, prior to the analysis of the sample, a possible manipulation thereof could have taken place.
- first latching elements 27 are arranged on its side facing the receptacle 2. These first locking elements 27 engage behind in the standby position the fianschförmigen extension 20 on the of the open end. 8 the receptacle 2 side facing away, as best seen in FIG. 3. Furthermore, the locking element 27 are preferably distributed uniformly over the entire inner circumference of the band-shaped element 23 and formed as locking lugs with a certain longitudinal extent over the circumference.
- the closure lid 3 When removing the closure lid 3 from the receptacle 2, the closure lid 3 is relatively moved away from the receptacle 2, wherein this takes place until a separation of the band-shaped element 23 takes place in the region of the predetermined separation plane 24 from the cover casing 16. By this separation process, an opening or the decrease of the closure lid 3 is signaled from the receptacle 2.
- the sample container 1 is shown after removal of the closure cap 3 from the receptacle 2.
- the band-shaped element 23 of the tamper-evident device 19 is still held on the receptacle 2, in particular the flange-shaped extension 20.
- at least one, but preferably a plurality of second latching elements 28 is arranged or provided on the band-shaped element 23 on its side facing the receptacle 2, which in the ready position the flange-shaped extension 20 on the open end 8 of the receptacle 2 facing side towards the receptacle 2 over or behind. It can be found with a small projection or a smaller overlap of the second locking elements 28 relative to the first locking elements 27 Aus GmbH. However, it should be ensured that the band-shaped element 23 remains after separation from the closure lid 3 on the receptacle 2 and thus no additional to be disposed of component.
- first and the second latching elements 27, 28 seen in the direction of the longitudinal axis 7 are spaced from each other on the band-shaped element 23 and thereby projecting onto the receptacle 2. This not only a perfect joining or activating the tamper-evident device 19 is achieved, but also ensures the previously described retention of the band-shaped element 23 after its separation from the closure lid 3. Furthermore, the first and the second latching elements 27, 28 are each arranged in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 7 aligned circumferential plane. In order to achieve a stable cohesion of the band-shaped element 23 for the retention on the flange-shaped extension 20, it is advantageous if this is provided over the circumference. see is formed continuously and coherently.
- the intended separation plane 24, between the closure lid 3 and the band-shaped element 23 is arranged in the standby position between the flange-shaped extension 20 on the receptacle 2 and its end face 10 in the region of its open end 8. This prevents unwanted loosening of the band-shaped element 23 from the receptacle 2 after separation.
- an indicator 29 may be attached or applied.
- This indicator 29 can, for example, indicate the temperature of the sample introduced into the receiving space 18, for example urine. This can be easily and quickly determined whether it is directly introduced by a patient or not. If, for example, a person to be examined brought a sample from one of these known additional persons and inserted it unnoticed, it would have to be heated to body temperature, for example, before being filled in order to display a correct body temperature by means of the indicator. However, if the sample brought along has a temperature different from the body temperature, this can be read off the indicator.
