Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for discharging liquid from a support body and a roller surrounding this jacket, in particular a paper machine, with a plurality of lines, via which liquid is sucked from a liquid sump forming in the roller into a channel-like collecting container.
- a device of this type is known from DE-A-195 34 571.
- the aim of the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset, which is significantly less expensive while maintaining the advantages of individual siphons and in which the above-mentioned disadvantages of individual siphons are eliminated.
- the collecting container bends significantly less than the supporting body on which the roller jacket is supported by supporting elements in order to generate the desired line force in the press nip in question.
- the collecting container no longer has to undergo the deflection of the supporting body.
- the collection container is possibly still loaded by the weight of the leaking oil.
- the inlets of the lines thus remain essentially at the same height, which is of considerable advantage in practice, since a sump height that is uniform over the width is established in view of an even press nip or a flat press shoe.
- the lines are therefore mechanically coupled to the collecting container, wherein they are neither connected to the support body nor to the support element or the press shoe.
- the suction shoes should have an approximately axially parallel suction slot for oil absorption, which is aligned with the oil sump in the running direction of the roller shell.
- the elements located near the roller shell are rounded.
- the collecting container can in particular extend parallel to the supporting body.
- the collecting container is at least partially arranged in one of the two lateral cavities of a supporting body having the basic shape of a double T-beam in cross section.
- the fluid flow in the lines is not regulated, i.e. no individual siphons need to be provided.
- a locally increased proportion of oil can influence the sump height over the entire width.
- the fluid flow in the lines is regulated in each case, which means that individual siphons can be provided here.
- the corresponding regulation can in particular take place as described in DE-A-195 34 571. The content of this document is hereby incorporated by reference into the present disclosure.
- the sump height is kept to a minimum. Due to a locally increased amount of liquid, the sump height can no longer be generally increased.
- a throttle valve can be assigned to each of the lines, via which the respective fluid flow can be controlled or regulated depending on the respective gas flow in the lines.
- the device according to the invention can advantageously be assigned to a shoe roller and in particular to a shoe press roller. It is preferably provided for the suction of the oil sump that forms in front of the shoe nose when viewed in the circumferential direction of the roller shell.
- Figure 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a shoe roller with a discharge device according to the invention.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic longitudinal sectional illustration of the shoe roller according to FIG. 1;
- FIGS. 1 and 3 shows a detailed view of the suction shoe 8 according to FIGS. 1 and
- FIG. 4 shows a detailed view of the suction shoe 8 according to FIG. 2.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show a purely schematic representation of a shoe roller 10, in particular a shoe press roller, which forms an extended press nip 14 with a counter roller 12.
- the shoe roller 10 comprises a support body 16 and a flexible jacket 18 which runs around this support body 16 and is pressed against the counter-roller 12 by a press shoe 22 supported on the support body 16 by means of support elements 20.
- the two rollers 10, 12 can be provided in a machine which serves to produce a fibrous web, in particular a paper or cardboard web, that is to say in particular a paper machine.
- the shoe roller 10 is provided with a device 24 for removing or sucking oil from the roller. It can be provided, in particular, for the suction of the oil sump 26 which forms in front of the shoe nose 22 'when viewed in the direction of rotation L of the roller shell 18.
- the suction device 24 comprises a plurality of lines 28, preferably siphon pipes, via which the oil is sucked out of the oil sump 26 into a channel-like elongated collecting container 30 arranged inside the roller 10. As with 2, this collecting container 30 is connected to a suction pump 36 via a line 34 leading to the outside through one of the two roller journals 32, via which the oil is correspondingly discharged.
- the lines 28 are firmly connected to the associated common collecting container 30.
- the collecting container 30 is statically determined at two points 38 on the support body 16.
- the lines 28 each have a suction shoe 8 with an axially parallel suction slot 6 at the end of the roll shell on the roll jacket side for receiving the oil.
- the suction slot 6 is directed towards the oil sump 26 in the circumferential direction L.
- the lines 28 are relatively freely movable through the support body 16.
- the collecting container 30 extends parallel to the supporting body 16.
- the support body 16 has the basic shape of a double T-beam in cross section. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the collecting container 30 is at least partially arranged in one of the two lateral cavities 40 of the support body 16 which has the shape of a double T-beam in cross section. The top of the collecting container 30 is supported on the supporting body 16.
- the oil to be extracted can in particular be excess lubricant and coolant, which is not required for the lubrication and cooling of the inside of the roller jacket 18 guided over the press shoe 22.
- the gas pressure above the liquid level! in the reservoir 30 is lower than the gas pressure above the liquid level in the area of the oil sump 26, so that the oil is sucked through the lines 28 into the reservoir 30. Since the lines 28 are arranged vertically in the present case, the oil is through these lines 28 are sucked up from the bottom.
- the fluid flows in the lines 28 are not regulated, as a result of which the construction of the suction device is kept relatively simple overall.
- a sensor can be arranged in the oil sump 26 or in the collecting container 16, which detects the gas flow rate.
- the throttle valve in the respective line 28 can then be controlled via an actuator in such a way that the fluid flow through line 28 is throttled when the gas flow rate increases.
- the sensor can also detect other manipulated variables in order to achieve throttling of a respective throttle valve when the gas content in the discharged fluid increases.
