- Said aim is achieved by means of a method for the production of a prestressed pipeline section made of plastic, comprising the following steps: the provision of a first plastic pipe section, the provision of a second plastic pipe section having an internal diameter that is smaller than the external diameter of the first pipe section, modifying the cross-sectional dimensions of at least one end of a first of the pipe sections such that the end of the second pipe section can be fitted over the end of the first pipe section, pushing the pipe sections onto one another in such a way that compressive stresses are generated in the first (inner) pipe section and tensile stresses are generated in the second (outer) pipe section.

- a pipe section is preferably chosen that is identical to the pipe sections that are used in the remainder of the pipeline, so that the desired abutment is ensured.
- first and the second pipe section have identical cross-sectional dimensions.
- one or both pipe sections can be constructed with a conical end face. By means of end faces formed in this way it is possible to widen the one pipe section and to compress the other to some extent, specifically to such a degree that they can then be pushed over one another.
- the pipe sections can be produced from a wide variety of plastics, for example semi- crystalline plastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene.
- Pushing onto one another can be further promoted by heating the surfaces to be pushed onto one another.
- a temperature of up to 60 °C can be chosen for this purpose.
- the cohesion of the polyethylene material, and thus the prestress in the pipeline section is maintained, whilst, on the other hand, a significant reduction in the coefficient of friction, and thus of the shearing forces, is obtained.
- a fluid can also be introduced under pressure between the pipe sections in order to lower the shearing forces.
- the pipeline sections can be used in various ways. First of all, such pipeline sections can be used to produce adaptors, for example T-shaped junctions or bends. Secondly such pipeline sections can be used as complete prestressed pipes.
- the method according to the invention comprises the following steps: the provision of at least a first and a second reinforced pipeline section, as described above, producing an end face that is oriented obliquely with respect to its axis at at least one end of both pipeline sections, - heating said obliquely shortened end faces of both pipeline sections, and welding the two pipeline sections to one another by pushing the heated end faces thereof onto one another.

- the pipeline section 7 according to the invention can be used for various applications. First of all such a pipeline section can be used as a complete prestressed pipe, in which case the pipe sections 2, 3 have the same length and are pushed completely over one another. Such pipeline sections can then be welded to one another at the end faces to produce the desired length. According to a second possibility an adaptor, for example the T-shaped adaptor 8 shown in Fig. 7, can be produced using such a pipeline section 7 according to the invention. Three pipeline sections 7 are needed for this T-shaped adaptor 8, which pipeline sections 7 are joined to one another by the weld seams 9, 10 (see Fig. 7).
- a T-shaped adaptor of this type is produced according to the steps shown in Figs 4 to 6.
- First of all three pipeline sections 7 are produced for this purpose.
- the shaded portion 12, 13 is removed from these pipeline sections along cuts running at 45 °C with respect to their axis.
- these pipeline sections 7 are then joined to one another by their end faces 14, 15 defined by said cuts, an L-shaped junction 11 being obtained by this means.

- Fig. 8 relates to a bend that is made up of four pipeline sections 7 which have been welded to one another by means of end faces (21) having a suitably chosen angle with respect to the associated axes.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une section pré-étirée (7) de canalisation en plastique, consistant à fournir un première section (2) de tube en plastique; à fournir une seconde section (3) de tube en plastique dont le diamètre intérieur est plus petit que le diamètre extérieur de la première section (2) de tube; à modifier les dimensions transversales d'au moins une extrémité (5) de la première section de tube de sorte que l'extrémité de la seconde section (3) de tube puisse être ajustée sur ladite extrémité (6) de la première section (2) de tube; à amener par poussée les sections de tube (2, 3) l'une sur l'autre, de sorte que des contraintes de compression sont produites dans la première section (2) intérieure du tube et des contraintes de tension étant produites dans la seconde section (3) extérieure du tube.
