Definitions
- the invention relates to an anchoring cartridge with a two-component adhesive for fastening an anchor rod in a borehole, which can be activated after insertion into the borehole when the anchor rod is knocked in by destroying the intermediate wall separating the two components.
- Such an anchoring cartridge with a two-component adhesive cartridge composed of an inner and an outer ampoule is known from DE-OS 27 05 484.
- the inner cartridge extends over almost the entire length of the outer cartridge and contains either the filler, in particular quartz sand together with the hardener component, or the resin component if the filler and the hardener component are present outside the inner ampoule inside the outer ampoule.
- the two ampoules consisting of glass are destroyed when an anchor rod is driven in, which causes the two components of the two-component adhesive to swirl and mix when rotating.
- the object of the invention is to create an anchoring cartridge of the type mentioned at the outset which is also suitable for fastening an anchor in the tension zone of the fastening base and also by hammering in the anchor rod by hand with a hammer overhead installation is easy to handle and ensures high anchoring values.
- the intermediate wall separating the two components divides the anchoring cartridge into a front cartridge area for the resin component and a rear cartridge area for the hardener component mixed with a granular filler.
- the anchoring cartridge according to the invention is not only suitable for threaded rods, but also for other profiled anchor rods, which have, for example, several smooth cone sections.
- the hardener is first coated in the rear cartridge area. Filler granules compressed. The compression of the filler or filler granules finally leads to the destruction of the intermediate wall separating the front cartridge region from the rear cartridge region, so that the fillers come into contact with the surface of the resin.
- the filler grains are thermally fixed to the end of the rear cartridge region pointing away from the intermediate wall.
- the filler grains can be mixed with a mixture in addition to the hardener coating, which is melted for thermal fixation and, after solidification, causes the filler grains to cake.
- the intermediate wall separating the front cartridge area and the rear cartridge area can be easily destroyed and is preferably made of glass or plastic.
- the intermediate piece is cup-shaped or cup-shaped.
- the intermediate piece is formed by the bottom of a glass tube closed on one side.
- the outer surface of the cup-shaped, cup-shaped or tubular intermediate piece is coated with the hardener, so that after the resin has been introduced into the front cartridge region, part of the resin is in the annular gap between the wall of the anchoring cartridge and the outer surface of the Intermediate piece designed as a bowl, pot or tube can penetrate in order to harden there and prevent further resin from overflowing into the rear cartridge area. In this way, a secure sealing of the resin component in the front cartridge area from the substances in the rear cartridge area is ensured.
- an end cap is provided at the rear end of the anchoring cartridge, which has a radially protruding collar.
- FIG. 1 is an anchoring cartridge according to the invention in longitudinal section
- FIG. 2a shows another embodiment for the anchoring cartridge, in which a glass tube closed on one side is used as an intermediate piece for separating the components
- FIG. 3 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 2 with an intermediate piece fixed in the opposite direction
- FIG. 4 shows a further embodiment of an anchoring cartridge according to the invention with an inner cartridge in longitudinal section
- FIG. 4a shows an exemplary embodiment of the anchoring cartridge, which has an inner cartridge which lies on a smaller filler layer in the front cartridge area.
- FIG. 5 shows the rear end of a welded-off anchor cartridge with an attached end cap in longitudinal section
- FIG. 6 is a plan view of the end cap to illustrate the position of predetermined breaking points
- 7 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 5 of a rear end of an anchoring cartridge which has not been welded off and which is closed by an end cap inserted into the end of the cartridge and
- Fig. 8 is a plan view of the end cap of FIG. 7 to illustrate the location of predetermined breaking points in the bottom of the end cap.
- a destructible anchoring cartridge 1 made of glass or plastic, which is designed as a tube and has a flat bottom at its front end face 2 shown in the drawing and a hemisphere at its rear end 3 by melting.
- the anchor cartridge 1 is. divided by a cup-shaped intermediate piece 4 into a front cartridge area 5 and a rear cartridge area 6.
- the front cartridge area 5 serves to hold a resin 7, in particular an amine-accelerated epoxy acrylate resin.
- the total inner volume of the front cartridge area 5 is smaller than the amount of resin 7, so that an air volume 8 with an inhibiting effect on the resin is also enclosed in the front cartridge area 5.
- the rear cartridge area 6 is largely filled with a filler 9, an air volume 10 also being present in the vicinity of the rear end 3.
- the filler consists, for example, of quartz sand with a grain size of 0.5 to 1.2 mm, which is coated with benzoyl peroxide as a hardener. If the anchoring cartridge 1 is provided for fastening a tapered rod with a thread outside the borehole M 10, it has a length of 60 mm.
- the through The diameter of the cartridge is 10.7 mm, the fill level of the fillers in the rear cartridge area 6 being 35 mm and the fill level of the resin 7 in the front cartridge area being 20 mm.
- the mass of the filler is 2.3 g and that of the resin 1.8 g.
- the air layer height of the air volume 10 is 5 mm.
- the filler 9 has the overall cylindrical shape shown in FIG. 1, regardless of the position of the anchoring cartridge, since in the vicinity of the rear end 3 the grains of the filler 9 are thermally fixed using a meltable mass as the fixed filler layer 16 and thus prevent the filler 9 from being distributed in the rear cartridge region 6 if, for example, an overhead installation is to take place.
- the intermediate piece 4 has the shape shown in FIG. 2a of a glass tube closed on one side or a cup-shaped or pot-shaped shape, which is shown enlarged in FIG. 2 and can be seen more clearly.
- the intermediate piece 4 has a partition 11 and an annular jacket 12, the diameter of which corresponds approximately to the inside diameter of the anchoring cartridge 1.
- the outside of the annular casing 12 has a hardener coating 13 when the anchoring cartridge 1 is assembled. After the resin 7 has been filled in, part of the resin 7 penetrates into the annular gap between the casing 12 and the inside of the anchor cartridge 1 and cures there.
- the annular jacket 12 of the intermediate piece 4 which is shown in Fig. 2a, can extend to the end face 2 of the cartridge 1, so that a tube closed on one side is used.
- the jacket 12 is coated with the hardener on the open end 13 and a secure sealing of the resin component is ensured.
- FIG. 3 shows an intermediate piece 4 which has the same shape as the intermediate piece 4 described in connection with FIG. 2.
- the air volume 8 can be seen above the surface of the resin 7 in FIG. 3.
- the annular gap around the jacket 12 is hardened. Resin sealed.
- the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4 is an anchoring cartridge 21, in which an inner cartridge 24 is provided instead of an intermediate piece 4 in order to separate a front cartridge area 25 from a rear cartridge area 26.
- the anchoring cartridge 21, like the anchoring cartridge 1, contains a thermally fixed filler layer 16 in the vicinity of the rear end 3, by means of which the volume shape of the filler 9 is fixed.
- the partition between the front cartridge region 25 and the rear cartridge region 26 is formed by the rear calotte region 27 of the inner cartridge 24.
- the outer diameter of the inner cartridge 24 is the same or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the anchoring cartridge 21.
- the front end 28 of the inner Cartridge 24 lies against the inside of the front end face 2 of the outer cartridge 21.
- the interior of the inner cartridge 24, like the front cartridge area 5 of the anchoring cartridge 1, is filled with resin 7, an air volume 29 or an air bubble being present in the rear calotte area 27 when the anchoring cartridge 21 has its front end face 2 facing downward in the direction of gravity shows.
- the air volume 29 is located at the front end 28 of the inner cartridge 24 during overhead installation.
- the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4a is an anchoring cartridge 21, in which the front end 28 of the inner cartridge 24 lies on a filler layer.
- an end cap 30 is placed on the rear end 3 of the anchoring cartridge 1 or 21 according to FIG.
- the end cap 30 has a tube section 31, the inside diameter of which corresponds approximately to the outside diameter of the anchoring cartridge 1 or 21.
- a radially projecting collar 32 is formed, the overall diameter of which is larger than the borehole diameter, so that it is not possible to insert the anchoring cartridge 1 or 21 the wrong way round into the borehole.
- the end cap 30 also has a base 33, which is displaced in the axial direction in relation to the collar 32 into the interior of the tube section 31 and which has predetermined breaking points which beat the anchor not shown in the drawing.
- FIG. 6 shows the course of predetermined breaking lines 34, which extend in the radial direction over the bottom 33 and intersect at the center of the bottom 33.
- the end cap 40 shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 is used, which has a tube section 41, the outside diameter of which is approximately the same as the inside diameter of the anchoring cartridge 1 or 21 corresponds.
- the end cap 40 is pressed with its bottom 43 against the filler 9 so that it fixes it.
- the interior of the pipe section 41 allows good guidance of the anchor rod to be fastened.
- the end cap 40 has a radially projecting collar 42 to prevent the insertion of the anchoring cartridge 1 or 21 in the wrong direction.
- Fig. 8 shows a plan view from the rear of the waste 'closure cap 40, the bottom of which has 43 via a plurality of linearly extending predetermined breaking points 44, the radially cross the bottom 43 and intersect in the center thereof.
