DESlGN FOR FOUNTAINS.

Specification forming part of Design No. 9,364, dated July 4, 1876; application iiled June 22, 1876 5 {Term of Patent 7 years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, J. W. FISKE, of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented certain Improvements in Designs for Fountains, of which the following is a specification This design consists of a basin made in the form of a sea-shell, supported on three dolphins resting on an ornamental base of any suitable kind. Within this basin are arranged the figures of two boys in a partially-standing position, supporting or holding up a third boy, who holds in one hand a cornucopia proceeding from his mouth, and provided with one or more jets, as represented in the accompanying illustration. The two lower boys are represented as partially resting on a stamp. The basin is also provided around its edge with a series of jets, from which the water is thrown vertically, so as to form a thin sheet surrounding the lower portion of the figures, as represented in the accompanying illnstrn tion; but this may be omitted, if desired.

What I claim is- The design for a fountain, consisting of the shell supported on dolphins, and having the figures arranged therein, substantially as shown and described.
