Abstract

FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: system is used to direct two bogies with transversely displaceable independently suspended wheels of standard passenger or freight car into curvilinear section of track. System installed on car does not require connection with other cars or locomotive. Operation of system is based on relative turning between front bogie in direction of straight ahead running and car body when the latter enters curvilinear section of track. Operation of system does not depend on direction of movement thanks to symmetry of its construction relative to middle cross plane of car body. System can be used for directing bogies with independently suspended wheels which cannot be displaced in cross direction. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.

Claims (1)
