Abstract

Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer et cellulosebasert fibermaterial for fremstilling av høy-opasitets papir og ark som har lav densitet og fremragende overflateegenskaper, og utviser fremragende dimensjonsstabilitet til tross for deres høye styrke. Et fibermaterial dannet hovedsakelig av en cellulose med en skallaktig ytre fibrill dannet av et mikrofibrillaggregat utviser en høyere fiberstivhet enn den av et fibermaterial med en garn-type ytre fibrill ved den samme freeness-graden og har en lavere vannretensjon og et større spesifikt overflateareal enn den av det sistnevnte materialet. Anvendelse av fibermaterialet i henhold til oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer papir og ark som har lav densitet, fremragende overflateegenskaper, fremragende dimensjonsstabilitet og høy opasitet.
