Description

Oppfinnelsen vedrører et identitetskort som har påskrift eller er merket ved hjelp av en laserstråle.
Europeisk patentsøknad, publikasjon nr. 138 121 åpenbarer en forbindelse basert på vinylklorid-polymerer for fremstilling av filmer som anvendes for å gjøre hemmeligheter sikre mot forfalskning. Denne forbindelse inneholder ikke bare 5-20% slagfasthetsmodifiserende middel, men også 0,5-25% ren cellulose i pulverisert form.
Det er imidlertid ulemper ved dette, for identitetskort i særdeleshet, da cellulosen i stor grad øker vannabsorpsjonsevnen til kortet. Hvis et slikt kort utsettes for fuktighet eller vann, blir det blakket og kan ikke lenger leses.
Formålet med foreliggende oppfinnelse var å benytte en PVC-folie av den type som er beskrevet ovenfor, på en slik måte at det kan skrives på den eller den kan merkes fullstendig tilfredsstillende med en laserstråle uten å ha ulempene ved den film som tidligere er åpenbart.
Måten som foreliggende oppfinnelse oppnår dette mål på er å tilsette 0,1-20 g kjønrøk for hver 100 kg PVC-pulver. Det har vist seg som en spesielt effektiv løsning å tilsette 0,6 g kjønrøk pr. 100 kg PVC-pulver.
På en slik PVC-folie vil det være utmerket å skrive ved hjelp av en laserstråle. Det er endog mulig å produsere rela-tivt veldefinerte bilder med denne folie. Folien er allikevel transparent og bevarer sine opprinnelige gode egenskaper.
Et identitetskort i henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse har et toppsjikt av polyvinylklorid-folie som oppviser en skrift eller markering fremkalt av laserstråler, og under nevnte sjikt ligger et i høy grad ugjennomsiktig sjikt. Det karakteristiske ved identitetskortet er at det i toppsjiktet av polyvinylklorid er innarbeidet sot (kjønrøk) i en mengde av 0,1-20 g pr. 100 kg polyvinylklorid.
Når kortet produseres på denne måte, påføres den nødven-dige informasjon bare på det transparente toppsjikt ved hjelp av laserstrålen. Det ikke-transparente annetsjikt gir til-strekkelig kontrast.
Den medfølgende tegning viser en utførelsesform av oppfinnelsen. Den representerer et tverrsnitt av et identitetskort.
Identitetskortet 1 består av tre sjikt, idet toppsjiktet er en PVC-folie 2 som inneholder 0,6 g kjønrøk pr. 100 kg PVC-pulver. 3 er merker som er gjort på folien ved hjelp av en laserstråle. Denne PVC-folie 2 har bakside av et midtsjikt 4 som er laget av hvit PVC. Bunnsjiktet består av en ytterligere transparent folie.
Det ville imidlertid også være mulig å anvende papir eller metallfolie for midtsjiktet.

Claims (2)

1. Identitetskort med et toppsjikt (2) av polyvinylkloridfolie som oppviser en skrift eller markering (3) fremkalt av laserstråler, idet det under dette sjikt ligger et i høy grad ugjennomsiktig sjikt (4), karakterisert ved at det i toppsjiktet (2) av polyvinylklorid er innarbeidet sot (kjønrøk) i en konsentrasjon på 0,1 til 20 g per 100 kg polyvinylklorid.
2. Identitetskort ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at soten er innarbeidet i dekksjiktet (2) i en konsentrasjon på 0,6 g per 100 kg polyvinylklorid.
