Abstract
Un metodo para mejorar la planeidad de placas metalicas y un dispositivo para incorporar este metodo, evitando las ondulaciones de la placa de acero que se producen en el borde en el sentido de la anchura de una placa metalica cuando esta ultima alcanza una temperatura ordinaria despues de la terminacion del rolado en caliente por medio de un proceso de enfriamiento. El metodo de control de planeidad de la placa metalica comprende las etapas de medir las temperaturas de superficie en el borde en el sentido de la anchura y la porcion central de la placa metalica entre los laminadores de acabado, los cuales son laminadores en tandem, o en la entrada y/o la salida de un laminador de acabado, el cual es un laminador reversible, o despues de la terminacion del rolado en caliente o despues del paso a traves de una aplanadora en caliente, controlando la temperatura de calentamiento del borde en el sentido de la anchura y la porcion central de la placa metalica en base a las temperaturas de superficie medidas, enfriando la placa metalica despues del laminado de acabado, por lo que la distribucion de las temperaturas de superficie se vuelve plana.
