Abstract
Un método para producir un componente catalizador sólido para el uso en un catalizador Ziegler-Natta incluye combinar en un solvente de hidrocarburo un soporte poroso en partículas con un compuesto de organomagnesio soluble en hidrocarburo para formar una suspensión. El compuesto de organomagnesio se halógena seguido por la adición de un alcohol y la mezcla entonces se hace reaccionar con un compuesto de titanio, seguido por una reacción con al menos un compuesto de diéter para formar el componente catalizador sólido. Posteriormente, el producto de reacción se extrae con una mezcla de un compuesto de titanio y un solvente de hidrocarburo.
