Abstract

Un objeto de la presente invención es proporcionar un método para producir partículas de óxido con características de color controladas y proporcionar partículas de óxido con características de color controladas. La presente invención proporciona un método para producir partículas de óxido, caracterizado porque comprende controlar las características de color de las partículas de óxido mediante el control de la relación de enlaces M-OH, la unión de uno o más elementos diferentes (M) distintos de oxígeno o hidrógeno con grupo hidroxilo (OH), en partículas de óxido seleccionadas de partículas de óxido metálico y partículas de óxido de metaloide. De acuerdo con la presente invención, se pueden proporcionar partículas de óxido que tienen características de color controladas de cualquiera de: reflectancia, transmitancia, coeficiente de absorción molar, tono o saturación de color, mediante el control del porcentaje de enlaces M-OH contenidos en partículas de óxido metálico o partículas de óxido de metaloide.
