Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición de catalizador y a un proceso para la oligomerización de etileno para producir 1-hexeno o 1-octeno, en el que la composición de catalizador comprende un compuesto de cromo; un ligando de NPNPN de la fórmula (R1) (R2) N-P (R3) -N (R4) -P (R5) -N (R6) (R7), en la que R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 y R7 son cada uno independientemente hidrógeno, halógeno, amino, trimetilsililo o hidrocarbilo C1-C20, preferentemente alquilo C1-C10 de cadena lineal o ramificada, fenilo, arilo C6-C20 o fenilo sustituido con alquilo C6-C20.
