Abstract

La invención se refiere a un espacio de servicio de un dispositivo de propulsión retráctil o sistema correspondiente en una embarcación o estructura flotante correspondiente, cuyo espacio de servicio (11) comprende un espacio cerrado o cerrable limitado por paredes, una estructura superior y una parte inferior en la cual se ha dispuesto un acceso para la tripulación C, desde las otras partes de la embárcación o la estructura flotante correspondiente. El espacio de servicio (11) se construye en relación con la parte inferior (2) de la embarcación o estructura flotante correspondiente, de manera que el dispositivo de propulsión (4) o sistema correspondiente sea retráctil desde una posición operativa hacia una posición de servicio/almacenamiento dentro del espacio de servicio (11) y descendible correspondientemente desde el espacio de servicio (11) hacia la posición operativa. De acuerdo con la invención, el espacio de servicio (11) se ubica al menos principalmente bajo la línea de agua (WL) de la embarcación o estructura flotante correspondiente, y se proporciona con dispositivos de cierre (14) herméticos al agua dispuestos sobre el nivel de la parte inferior (2) de la embarcación o estructura flotante correspondiente. Cuando se abren, los dispositivos de cierre (14) constituyen un acceso directo desde el espacio de servicio (11) hacia el agua a través de la parte inferior (2) de la embarcación o estructura flotante correspondiente para descender el dispositivo de propulsión (4) o sistema correspondiente desde el espacio de servicio (11) hacia el agua en la posición operativa i.e., modo operativo y correspondientemente para elevarlo desde el agua dentro del espacio de servicio (11) hacia la posición de servicio/almacenamiento i.e., modo de servicio/almacenamiento. Cuando se encuentran cerrados, los dispositivos de cierre (14) constituyen junto con la parte superior y las estructuras de pared del espacio de servicio (11), un espacio hermético al agua desde el cual el agua es removible después del cierre de los dispositivos de cierre (14).
