Abstract
La presente invención hace referencia a un procedimiento para la estabilización de banda de una banda provista de un recubrimiento y conducida entre toberas rascadoras de una instalación de refinamiento por inmersión en baño fundido, así como una correspondiente instalación de recubrimiento por inmersión en baño fundido. Para ello, a través de bobinas que se encuentran dispuestas detrás de las toberas rascadoras y que actúan de forma electromagnética y sin contacto sobre la banda de acero que circula, se ejercen sobre la banda fuerzas estabilizadoras de acuerdo a la posición de banda determinada. Para mejorar la estabilización de la banda en el área de la tobera rascadora, conforme a la invención se propone, que la distancia de la línea de acción de la instalación de estabilización de la banda hacia las toberas rascadoras es ajustada por las toberas rascadoras en un valor = a un valor umbral de distancia que es determinado como función del ancho de la banda, considerando un factor Phi, con lo que el factor Phi es calculado como función del grosor de la banda y de la tensión de la banda.
