Abstract

구동회로는 액정 디스플레이 패널의 데이터 버스에 접속된 복수개의 샘플 및 유지 회로를 갖는다. 데이터 버스는 복수개의 그룹으로 분리된다. 각 그룹은 화상신호를 수신하여 데이터 버스를 구동한다. 타이밍 제어기는 동기신호 및 클록신호에 반응하여 그룹의 동작 타이밍을 제어하여 각 그룹을 서로 독립적으로 제어한다.

Claims (7)

  1. 동기신호, 및 클록신호에 반응하여 동작하여 복수개의 데이터버스를 갖는 액정 디스플레이 패널을 구동하는 구동회로에 있어서, 상기 데이터 버스에 각각 접속되며, 상기 화상신호를 수신하여 상기 데이터 버스를 구동하는 복수개의 그룹으로 분리되는 복수개의 샘플 및 유지회로, 및 그룹에 대한 상기 데이터 버스가 독립적으로 구동되도록 상기 동기신호 및 상기 클록신호에 반응하여 상기 샘플 및 유지회로의 그룹의 동작 타이밍을 제어하는 타이밍 제어수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍 제어수단은 상기 그룹 샘플을 동시에 규칙적으로 상기 화상신호로 만들어 상기 화상신호의 데이터를 보정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍 제어수단은 상기 그룹의 동작 타이밍을 상기 화상신호의 일 프레임 만큼 변경시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로.
  4. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍 제어수단은 샘플 개시신호를 생성하여 각 그룹의 상기 샘플 및 유지회로중 한 개를 선택하며 각 그룹의 상기 샘플 및 유지회로 중 선택된 한 개에 대한 스위칭 신호를 생성하여 상기 동작 타이밍을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍 제어수단은 상기 그룹 샘플을 동시에 규칙적으로 상기 화상신호로 만들어 상기 화상신호에 의해 표시되는 원 화상을 확대하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로.
  6. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 구동회로는 입력신호를 보정하며 상기 보정신호를 상기 화상신호로서 상기 그룹에 공급하는 신호 처리기를 또한 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로.
  7. 홀수 버스 및 짝수 버스로 분리되는 복수개의 데이터 버스를 갖는 액정 디스플레이 패널 구동방법에 있어서, 제 1 모드에서 서로 교대로 구동되도록 짝수 및 홀수버스를 구동하는 단계와, 제 1 모드와 상이한 제 2 모드에서 홀수 및 짝수 버스를 구동하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 패널 구동방법.
