Abstract

본 발명은 헤드 장애를 판별하여 헤드 크리닝을 자동적으로 행하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
ATF에러 연산기(1)에서는 재생 RF신호로부터 ATF에러 신호를 생성하고, A/D 변환기를 통하여 ATF판별부(4)에 공급된다. ATF판별부(4)에서는 ATF성분의 유무가 판별되어 장애 판별 처리부(5)에 공급된다. 장애 판별 처리부(5)에서는 ATF성분이 있고 RF판별부(9)로부터 공급되는 RF신호가 없는 경우, 헤드 장애로 판별하고, 크리닝 처리 제어(11)에 기포한 모터 드라이버(14)가 로딩 모터(16)을 제어하고, 헤드 크리닝 기구(17)을 동작시킴으로써 헤드 크리닝을 할 수 있다.

Claims (3)

  1. 자기 헤드에 의해 기록 매체에 대하여 정보 신호가 기록 재생되는 자기 기록 재생 장치에 있어서, 재생 신호의 저역 성분과 고역 성분을 각각 분리하는 수단과 상기 재생 신호의 저역 성분과 고역 성분의 레벨을 비교하여 저역 성분이 있고 상기 고역 성분이 없을 경우, 헤드 장애로 판별하는 헤드 장애 판별 수단과, 상기 헤드 장애 판별 수단에 의해 제어되는 헤드 크리닝 수단 또는 상태 표시 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 재생 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 자기 헤드로부터의 상기 재생 신호의 저역 성분과 고역 성분을 각각 직류 전압으로 변환하는 직류 전압변환 수단이 설치되고, 상기 헤드 장애 판별 수단 또는 상기 상태 표시 수단은 상기 직류 전압 변환 수단으로부터의 출력 정보에 기초하여 헤드 상태 판별을 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 재생장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고역성분은 기록해야 할 상기 정보 신호이며, 상기 저역 성분은 기록해야 할 상기 정보 신호의 트래킹 제어용 파일럿 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 재생 장치.
