Abstract

由ATF误差算术运算单元(1)从重放RF信号形成的ATF误差信号,通过A/D转换器将其输送到ATF鉴别单元(4)。由后者鉴别有无ATF分量,将其输送到堵塞鉴别处理单元(5),ATF鉴别处理单元(5)就能鉴别出ATF分量存在而从RF鉴别单元(9)提供的RF信号不存在的情况下已经发生磁头堵塞。电动机驱动器(14)根据清洁处理单元(11)控制带载电动机(16)使磁头清洁机构(17)工作而进行清洁处理。

Description

磁记录和重放设备
本发明涉及一种采用磁头的记录和重放设备,具体地说,本发明涉及一种用以检测磁头堵塞且根据检测结果自动执行磁头清洁或进行状态显示的设备。
根据传统的磁头清洁方法,当绕旋转磁头型磁鼓进行卷绕磁带的操作时,在预定时间内使磁头清洁器起工作,与磁头相接触,从而不管磁头有无污物都进行清洁,减低由于磁头堵塞(磁头阻塞)所引起的故障的出现率。作为另一种方法,即已经付诸实用的方法之类,是在执行用于摄象录象机的记录操作后的暂时停止或记录取消时,重放至此应该已经记录的部分,检测有否信号,从而鉴别磁头有无异常现象,向使用者显示警告等。
然而,在前一种情况下,由于完全不掌握磁头的状态,只要磁带不装上及卸下,就不进行磁头清洁。此外,虽然已经采用了手动磁头清洁按扭,但是在磁带录象机(VTR)有预记录功能的情况下,由于使用者往往不在现场,因此使用者不能手控地应付这种情况。另外,在后一种情况下,由于只在记录后进行有关磁头堵塞的鉴别,甚至在显示警告时,在重放记录磁带的情况下也不能鉴别磁头堵塞。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种能检测磁头有无异常现象、能使磁头清洁自动化、且能显示状态的磁记录和重放设备。
本发明涉及一种磁记录和重放设备,其中利用磁头将信息信号记录在记录媒体上及从记录媒体重放,其特征在于包括:
用以分别将重放信号的低频分量和高频分量分离开的装置;
用以比较重放信号的低频分量和高频分量的值,以及在有低频分量及无高频分量时用以鉴别有磁头堵塞的磁头堵塞鉴别装置;以及
由磁头堵塞鉴别装置所控制的磁头清洁装置或状态显示装置。
在许多情况下重放记录磁带而不能获得输出信号中的高频分量时,就会出现由磁头顶部的污物所引起的无信号损耗。因此例如根据8mm VTR,记录在低频侧的ATF(automatic tracking following(自动循迹跟踪))信号几乎不受无信号损耗的影响。另一方面,记录在高频侧的亮度FM信号重放值显著降低。利用由无信号损耗所引起的输出差,就能检测磁头有无异常现象,且能使磁头清洁自动化。
本发明的上述及其它目的、特征和优点从以下结合附图阅读的详细描述中就容易显得很清楚。
图1是可以采用本发明的磁记录和重放设备的实施例的方框图;
图2是根据本发明的磁记录和重放设备的实例的计时图;
图3A和3B是用来说明根据本发明的ATF信号的示意图;
图4A和4B是根据本发明的磁头堵塞实例的示意图;
图5是磁头堵塞的信道1的重放值的实例;以及
图6是磁头堵塞的信道2的重放值的实例。
下面参照附图描述本发明的实施例。这个实施例涉及螺旋型VTR,这种VTR利用一对彼此以180°面对的旋转磁头把彩***信号交替地记录在磁带上。记录信号的频带低频侧上的四种频率的控制信号顺序地输送到各磁迹。
如图1中所示,磁头堵塞检测及自动清洁***主要由用于ATF的IC(集成电路)18、机械走带机构控制微计算机19,以及机械走带机械20所构成。对于ATF鉴别处理单元、RF鉴别处理单元以及磁头堵塞鉴别磁头清洁处理单元来说,操作内容是分开的。然后,描述***的各单元以及介绍每个处理单元的操作内容。
首先,ATFIC18由ATF误差算术运算单元1和RF检测器2所构成。机械走带机械控制微计算机19由A/D转换器3、ATF鉴别单元4、堵塞鉴别处理单元5、ATF REFPILOT(基准控制信号)发生器6、A/D计时形成单元7、SWP(转换脉冲)发生单元8、RF鉴别单元9、中断计时形成单元10以及清洁处理控制单元11所构成。机械走带机构20则由磁鼓15、带载电动机16以及磁头清洁机械17所构成。
ATF误差算术运算单元1从由低通滤波器输送的来自RF放大器12的重放RF信号中选取ATF信号,并且与从ATF基准控制信号发生器6输出的ATF基准控制信号进行算术运算,从而形成ATF误差信号。形成的ATF误差信输送到A/D转换器3。RF检测器2利用比较器电路检测重放RF信号是否已经从RF放大器12所供应的重放RF信号中输出。检测信号输送到RF鉴别单元9。
RF鉴别单元9根据来自中断计时形成单元10的中断计时对从RF检测器2提供的信号进行取样,以及鉴别有否RF信号。A/D转换器3根据来自A/D计时形成单元7的计时将从ATF误差算术运算单元1提供的ATF误差信号转换成数字值。经过转换的ATF误差信号输送到ATF鉴别单元4。ATF鉴别单元4通过将ATF误差值与基准电平作比较而鉴别有否ATF信号。上述ATF鉴别单元4的鉴别结果和RF鉴别单元9的鉴别结果输送到堵塞鉴别处理单元5。
堵塞鉴别处理单元5根据有否ATF信号及有否重放RF输出而鉴别有否发生磁头堵塞。鉴别结果输送到清洁处理控制单元11。当断定发生磁头堵塞时,清洁处理控制单元11自动执行磁头清洁。由清洁处理控制单元11通过电动机驱动器14控制机械走带机构20的带载电动机16。借助由加载电动机16操纵的磁头清洁机构——磁头清洁机构17,将清洁用的滚轮压到旋转磁头上一段短时间而进行磁头清洁。
磁鼓FG和PG从磁鼓15输送到FGPG放大器13。由FGPG放大器13进行磁鼓FG和PG的波形整形等,FGPG放大器13的输出信号输送到中断计时形成单元10。由中断计时形成单元10形成磁豉FG和PG的中断计时。形成的中断计时输送到SWP发生单元8和RF鉴别单元9。SWP发生单元8利用磁鼓FG和PG的中断计时通过计算产生SWP。借助A/D计时形成单元7,SWP形成由其边沿时间所决定的计时,这种计时输送到A/D转换器3及ATF基准控制信号产生器6。ATF基准控制信号发生器6根据来自A/3计时形成单元7的计时改变ATF基准控制信号的频率。
现在描述ATF鉴别单元4的工作情况的实例。图2中所示的RFSWP是由SWP发生单元8所形成的,一个周期与磁鼓的一转同步。ATF基准控制信号(REFPILOT)是由ATF基准控制信号发生器6根据图2中所示的RF SWP的定时所产生的。此外,在这种情况下,设定ATF基准控制信号的频率,使得ATF误差信号电平在跟踪状态下处于最大。
ATF误差算术运算单元1对ATF基准控制信号和ATF信号进行算术运算,以及输出模拟值(0-5V)的ATF误差信号。ATF误差信号是根据图2中所示的RF SWP的计时而进行A/D转换的,有否ATF信号则是由ATF鉴别单元4鉴别的。如图3A和3B所示的那样,ATF鉴别单元4将此值与基准电平进行比较。在ATF误差信号的电平高于基准电平(图3A)的情况下,断定ATF分量存在,而在ATF误差信号的电平低于基准电平(图3A和3B)的情况下,则断定ATF分量不存在。
现在描述RF鉴别单元9的工作的实例。RF检测器2利用比较器电路形成表示有无RF信号的检测信号(H、L)。RF鉴别单元9根据图2中所示的RF鉴别的计时对检测信号进行取样,且鉴别有否重放RF信号。
现在根据鉴别结果描述堵塞鉴别处理单元5的工作的实例。鉴别磁头堵塞是由堵塞鉴别处理单元5根据ATF信号和RF信号的鉴别结果而进行的。当鉴别出ATF信号存在而RF信号不存在时,就断定已经发生磁头堵塞。当鉴别出磁头堵塞时,就进行磁头清洁处理。代替进行磁头清洁,也可以显示发生磁头堵塞连同磁头清洁的警告。
图4A和4B中示出了鉴别磁头堵塞的磁头的实例。图4A放大显示靠近一个信道的磁头缝隙的各个部分,图4B则放大显示靠近另一个信道的磁头缝隙的各个部分。由于磁头设置在铁硅铝磁合金部分22的铁氧体部分24的闭合磁路,就使玻璃部分充电。在铁硅铝磁合金部分22上可见到堵塞部分23。
图5示出了在发生磁头堵塞的情况下,重放RF信号的一个信道的频率特性的测量实例。如图中所示的那样,虽然在低频侧记录的ATF信号是以较大值重放的,但是由于无信号损耗的缘故,记录在高频侧的记录信号的值显著减小。类似地,图6示出了重放RF信号的另一信道的频率特征的测量实例。对于这个另一信道,也能看到与上述一个信道相似的趋向。
根据本发明,利用无信号损耗所引起的输出信号差能显著提高检测磁头有无异常现象的精度,以及能显著提高磁头清洁的自动化精度。根据上述实施例,由于用于跟踪控制的控制信号用作低频分量的信号,因此就有不需要检测磁头堵塞的特定信号或电路结构的优点。
本发明不限于上述实施例,而是在所附的本发明的精神和范围内可以作许多改型和变化。

Claims (5)

1.一种磁记录和重放设备,其中信息信号由磁头记录到记录媒体上或从记录媒体重放出来,所述设备包括:
用以分别独立地鉴别重放信号的低频分量和高频分量的ATF鉴别单元(4)和RF鉴别单元(9);
用以在有所述低频分量、没有所述高频分量的情况下,鉴别这种状况是磁头堵塞的磁头堵塞鉴别装置(5);以及
由所述磁头堵塞鉴别装置控制的磁头清洁装置(17)或状态显示装置;
其特征在于,由RF鉴别单元(9)鉴别的所述高频分量是要被记录的所述信息信号,由ATF鉴别单元(4)鉴别的所述低频分量是用以跟踪控制要被记录的所述信息信号的导频信号。
2.根据权利要求1的磁记录和重放设备,其特征在于,它包括:
配置了用以将来自所述磁头的所述重放信号的所述低频分量和所述高频分量分别变换成直流电压的直流电压变换装置(1);以及
所述磁头堵塞鉴别装置(5)根据来自所述直流电压变换装置(1)的输出信息执行磁头状态鉴别。
3.根据权利要求1的设备,其特征在于,所述磁头对绕在旋转磁鼓(15)上的所述记录媒体进行记录。
4.根据权利要求2的设备,其特征在于,所述磁头对绕在旋转磁鼓(15)上的所述记录媒体进行记录。
5.根据上述任一权利要求的设备,其特征在于,所述磁头清洁装置有一个电动机(14,16),供将一个滚轮压到所述磁头上。
