Abstract

광디스크의 두께오차로 인한 구면수차를 제거할 수 있는 광학픽업장치가 제공되어 있다. 광학픽업장치가 광학기록매체의 표면에 대향하는 평면을 가지며 소정의 굴절율을 갖는 볼록렌즈와; 상기 광학기록매체와 대물렌즈 사이에 볼록렌즈가 끼워지도록 배치된 상기 대물렌즈와; 광학기록매체의 광입사면과 볼록렌즈의 평면으로부터 반사된 빛을 집광하기 위한 집광광학계와; 상기 광학기록매체의 광입사면으로부터 반사되어 상기 집광광학계를 통과하는 빛을 검출하여 제1검출신호를 생성하는 제1광검출수단과; 상기 볼록렌즈의 평면으로부터 반사되어 상기 집광광학계를 통과하는 빛을 검출하여 제2검출신호를 생성하는 제2광검출수단과; 상기 제1 및 제2검출신호를 바탕으로 상기 광학기록매체의 상기 광입사면과 상기 볼록렌즈의 상기 평면 사이에 위치적관계를 검출하는 위치검출수단과; 상기 볼록렌즈가 상기 광학기록매체 또는 상기 대물렌즈쪽으로 대향하는 방향으로 이동하도록 함으로써, 상기 광학기록매체의 광입사면과 상기 볼록렌즈의 평면 사이의 거리가 상기 제1 및 제2검출신호에 따라서 제어되도록, 그 광축을 따라 볼록렌즈를 구동시키는 구동수단과;를 포함하고 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 적절한 일실시예를 따르는 광학픽업장치를 나타내는 개략도이다.
제2도는 본 발명에 따르는 광학픽업장치에 사용된 볼록렌즈의 제조단계를 설명하는 도면이다.
제3도는 본 발명에 따르는 광학픽업장치의 반구형볼록렌즈에 인접한 상세구조를 나타내는 확대도이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 광학기록매체의 광입사면에 대향하는 평면을 가지며 소정의 굴절율을 갖는 볼록렌즈와; 상기 광학기록매체와 대물렌즈 사이에 상기 볼록렌즈가 끼워지도록 배치된 상기 대물렌즈와; 광학기록매체의 광입사면과 상볼록렌즈의 평면으로부터 반사된 빛을 집광하기 위한 집광광학계와; 상기 광학기록매체의 광입사면으로부터 반사되어 상기 집광광학계를 통과하는 빛을 검출하여 제1검출신호를 생성하는 제1광검출수단과; 상기 볼록렌즈의 평면으로부터 반사되어 상기 집광광학계를 통과하는 빛을 검출하여 제2검출신호를 생성하는 제2광검출수단과; 상기 제1 및 제2검출신호를 바탕으로 상기 광학기록매체의 상기 광입사면과 상기 볼록렌즈의 상기 평면 사이에 위치적 관계를 검출하는 위치검출수단과; 상기 볼록렌즈가 상기 광학기록매체 또는 상기 대물렌즈쪽으로 대향하는 방향으로 이동하도록 함으로써, 상기 광학기록매체의 광입사면과 상기 볼록렌즈의 평면 사이의 거리가 상기 제1 및 제2검출신호에 따라서 제어되도록, 그 광축을 따라 상기 볼록렌즈를 구동시키는 구동수단과;를 포함하여, 광원으로부터 입사된 빛을 광학기록매체상에 집광시키기 위한 것을 특징으로 하는 광학픽업장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1광검출수단은 그의 집광점에 대하여, 상기 광학기록매체의 광입사면으로부터 반사되어 상기 집광광학계를 통과하는 빛의 공역점에 배치되어 있으며, 상기 제2광검출수단은 그의 집광점에 대하여, 상기 볼록렌즈의 평면으로부터 반사되어 상기 집광광학계를 통과하는 빛의 공역점에 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하여 구성된 광학픽업장치.
