Abstract
본 발명은 광 픽업 장치에 관한 것으로서, 특히 두께가 다른 디스크에 대한 정보의 읽기 및 쓰기가 가능한 광 픽업 장치에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 장치는 광원과; 디스크 면을 향하는 상기 광원으로부터의 광 진행 경로 상에 마련되는 것으로 소정의 유효직경을 가지는 대물 렌즈와; 상기 대물 렌즈와 상기 광원의 사이의 광진행 경로 상에 마련되는 광분할소자와; 상기 광분할소자로부터 분활되어 입사되는 것으로 상기 디스크로부터 반사된 광을 감지하는 광검출기를; 구비한 광 픽업에 있어서, 상기 광검출기는 중앙의 제1광검지영역과, 제1광검지영역의 주위에 마련는 제2광검지영역을 구비한다.
이러한 본 발명 장치는 구조가 간단하고 제작단가가 저렴할 뿐 아니라 광에 대한 구면수차의 영향을 줄임으로써 두께가 다른 디스크를 하나의 디스크 드라이브에서 사용할 수 있게 된다.

제5도는 본 발명에 따른 광픽업 장치에 적용되는 8분할 광검출기의 평면적 구조를 보인다.
Claims (4)
- 광원과; 디스크 면을 향하는 상기 광원으로부터의 광 진행 경로 상에 마련되는 것으로 소정의 유효직경을 가지는 대물 렌즈와; 상기 대물 렌즈와 상기 광원의 사이의 광진행 경로 상에 마련되는 광분할소자와; 상기 광분할소자로부터 분리되어 입사되는 것으로 상기 디스크로부터 반사된 광을 검지하는 광 검출기를 구비한 광픽업에 있어서, 상기 광검출기는 중앙의 제1광검지영역과, 제1광검지영역의 주위에 마련되는 제2광검지영역을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1광검지영역은 얇은 디스크를 적용할 시 입사광의 근축영역과 원축영역을 수광하는 크기를 가지도록 하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광검출기의 제1광검지영역과 제2광검지영역은 각각 4분할형인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광검출기는 마름모형인 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
