Abstract

트랙 점프중에 추기형 광 디스크로부터 재생된 RF 신호가 검출되어 추기형 광 디스크상의 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 경계를 검출하는 추기형 광 디스크 기록 장치가 개시된다. 이것은 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 대략적인 경계가 신속히 검색될 수 있도록 한다. 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 더 엄밀한 경계는 그후 대략적으로 검출된 경계에 2분 탐색법을 사용함으로써 신속히 검색될 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 추기형 광 디스크 기록 장치의 구성을 도시하는 개략적 블럭도,
제2도는 기록 영역과 미기록 영역사이의 경계를 검색하는 수순을 도시하는 흐름도,
제3도는 트랙 점프(track jump)중의 RF 신호를 사용한 검색의 수순을 도시하는 흐름도.

Claims (6)

  1. 광 빔이 광 디스크상에 조사되어 데이타를 기록하는 광 디스크 기록 장치에 있어서, 상기 광 디스크는기록 영역과 미기록 영역을 가지며, 상기 광 디스크 기록 장치는, 트랙킹 작동기와, 상기 트랙킹 작동기의 제어 이동을 위해 에러 신호를 출력하고 상기 트랙킹 작동기의 트랙 점프중에 RF 신호를 출력하는 회로 및, 상기 RF 신호를 수신하고 상기 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 경계를 검출하는 검출 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 기록 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 2분 탐색법을 사용하여, 상기 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 더 엄밀한 경계를 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 기록 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 디스크의 검색 영역내의 물리 트랙수에 따라, 상기 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 경계를, 트랙 점프중에 상기 광 디스크로부터 재생된 RF 신호를 검출하는 방법 및 2분 탐색법을 사용하여 검출하거나, 또는 2분 탐색법만을 사용하여 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 기록 장치.
  4. 광빔이 광 디스크상에 조사되어 데이타를 기록하는 광 디스크 기록 장치에 있어서, 트랙 점프중에 상기 광 디스크로부터 재생된 RF 신호가 검출되어 상기 광 디스크상의 기록 영역과 미기록 영역간의 경계를 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 기록 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 2분 탐색법을 사용하여, 기록 완료 영역과 미기록 영역간의 더 엄밀한 경계를 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 기록 장치.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 광 디스크의 검색 영역내의 물리 트랙수에 따라, 기록 완료 영역과 미기록 영역간의 경계를, 트랙 점프중에 상기 광 디스크로부터 재생된 RF 신호를 검출하는 방법 및 2분 탐색법을 사용하여 검출하거나, 또는 2분 탐색법만을 사용하여 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 기록 장치.
