Abstract
3 흡입 밸브 엔진에 있어서 연비의 향상을 위한 것이다.
흡입 포트(11, 12, 13)를 분사 노즐(17)로부터 연소실(10)사이에 서로 독립되고, 흡기가 포느 상벽(12a)에 연하여 흐르고, 연소실(10)에 있어서 종와류 층상 흐름이 되는 단면 역삼각형으로 형성되고, 3개의 흡입 포트의 중앙부에 위치하고 있고 점화플러그(16)에 대향하고 있는 포트를 혼합기 흡입 포트(12)로 하고, 이 포트(12)의 양측에 배치된 포트를 공기 흡입 포트(11, 13)라하고, 포트(12)에 대해서만 연료를 공급하는 연료 공급 수단(17)을 설치하고, 연소실(10)내에 흡입된 혼합기가 포트(12)로부터 흡입된 종와류(12A)와 포트(11, 13)로부터 흡입된 공기의 종와류(11A, 13A)가 종와류(12A)를 끼워 3층상의 종와류를 형성하여 흐르고 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.

제1도는 본 발명의 1 실시예르 나타내는 엔진을 표시한 개략적 사시도.
제2도는 제1도 엔진의 연소실(10)내에 발생하는 텀블 흐름을 설명하기 위한 측면도.
제3도는 제1도 엔진 흡기 포트(11, 12, 13) 배기 포트(12, 15), 연소실(10), 연료 분사 노즐(17) 및 점화 플러그(16)의 상대 위치를 표시한 평면도.
Claims (6)
- 연소실로 각각 연이어 통하는 3개의 흡입 포트 및 상기 각 흡기 포트에서의 상기 연소실로의 개구에 배치된 3개의 흡입 밸브를 갖는 내연 기관인 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진에 있어서, 상기 연소실 천정에 있어서의 3개의 흡입 포트의 중앙의 흡입 포트에 대향한 위치에 설치된 점화 플러그와, 상기 중앙의 흡입 포트안을 향하여 연료를 분사하는 연료 분사 수단을 구비하고, 상기 3개의 흡입 포트는 각 상기 중앙의 흡입 포트로 부터 상기 연소실 내로 흡입된 혼합기 및 그외의 2개의 흡입 포트로부터 동연소실내로 흡입실 공기가 동 연소실내에서 3층의 텀블 흐름을 형성하도록, 서로 독립하여 형성되고 또 그 각 단면형상이 그 상반부의 폭이 하반부의 폭 보다도 크게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 3개의 흡입 포트는 각단면 형상이 거의 역삼각형이 되도록 그 상반부의 폭이 하반부의 폭 보다도 크게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 3개의 흡입 포트는, 상기 연료 분사 수단에 의해 연료 분사 위치 근방으로부터 상기 연소실에 대한 개구까지의 사이에 서로 독립하여 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연소실의 천정은 실질적으로 2개의 경사면에 의해 이루어진 거의 펜돌프형으로 형성되어진 것을 특징으로 하는 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 3개의 흡입 포트가 상기 연소실의 천정에 있어서 한쪽의 경사면에 개구하고, 적어도 1개의 배출 포트가 다른쪽 경사면에 개구하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연료 분사 수단에 의한 분사범위는 상기 중앙의 흡입 포트의 내벽면에 부착되는 것이 아니고, 상기 포트의 상기 연소실에 대한 개구로 지향하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 3 흡입 밸브형 엔진.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
