Claims (8)
- 복수의 게이트 버스 라인과 드레인 버스 라인으로 획정된 화소 영역내에 형성된 화소 전극을 갖는 어레이 기판에 대향해서 배치되고, 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 협지하는 투명 절연성 기판과,상기 투명 절연성 기판상에 형성된 공통 전극과,상기 공통 전극상에 형성된 선(線)형상의 돌기를 갖는 배향 규제용 구조물과,상기 투명 절연성 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 화소 전극의 단부에 발생하는 상기 액정의 배향 불량 영역을 차광하도록, 상기 투명 절연성 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 보아 상기 화소 전극과 겹치는 겹침 영역을 갖는 차광막을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 배향 규제용 구조물은 상기 돌기로부터 분기하여, 상기 화소 전극의 단부이면서 상기 드레인 버스 라인을 따르는 방향에 형성된 보조 돌기를 더 갖고,상기 차광막은 상기 투명 절연성 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 보아 상기 보조 돌기가 형성되어 있지 않은 영역에 상기 겹침 영역을 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 차광막은 상기 투명 절연성 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 보아 상기 액정의 상기 배향 불량 영역 이외의 정상 배향 영역에서 상기 화소 전극보다 외측에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 복수의 게이트 버스 라인과 드레인 버스 라인으로 획정된 화소 영역내에 형성된 화소 전극을 갖는 어레이 기판에 대향해서 배치되고, 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 협지하는 투명 절연성 기판과,상기 투명 절연성 기판상에 형성된 공통 전극과,상기 공통 전극상에 형성된 선형상의 돌기를 갖는 배향 규제용 구조물과,상기 투명 절연성 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 투명 절연성 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 보아 상기 액정의 배향 불량 영역 이외의 정상 배향 영역에서 상기 화소 전극보다 외측에 형성된 차광막을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 배향 규제용 구조물은 상기 돌기로부터 분기하여, 상기 화소 전극의 단부이면서 상기 드레인 버스 라인을 따르는 방향에 형성된 보조 돌기를 더 갖고,상기 차광막은 상기 투명 절연성 기판면에 수직인 방향에서 보아 상기 보조 돌기가 형성된 영역에서 상기 화소 전극보다 외측에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 복수의 게이트 버스 라인과 드레인 버스 라인으로 획정된 화소 영역내에 형성된 화소 전극을 갖는 어레이 기판에 대향해서 배치되고, 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 협지하는 투명 절연성 기판과,상기 투명 절연성 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 드레인 버스 라인 사이의 영역에 대향하는 영역에 상기 액정을 배향 규제하기 위한 단차가 형성된 공통 전극과,상기 공통 전극상에 형성된 선형상의 돌기를 갖는 배향 규제용 구조물을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 배향 규제용 구조물은 상기 돌기로부터 분기하여, 상기 화소 전극의 단부이면서 상기 드레인 버스 라인을 따르는 방향에 형성된 보조 돌기를 더 갖고,상기 단차는 상기 보조 돌기가 형성되어 있지 않은 영역에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 전극 기판.
- 복수의 게이트 버스 라인과 드레인 버스 라인으로 획정된 화소 영역내에 형성된 화소 전극을 갖는 어레이 기판과, 상기 어레이 기판에 대향해서 배치되고 전면에 공통 전극이 형성된 대향기판과, 상기 어레이 기판과 상기 대향 기판 사이에 봉입된 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 갖는 액정 표시 장치로서,상기 대향 기판으로서 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 기재된 공통 전극 기판을 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
