Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a shock absorbing guardrail, and more particularly, to a shock absorbing guardrail which includes a preceding shock absorbing means for absorbing impact energy at the earliest collision with a vehicle in the event of an accident, Absorbing guard rail.
Generally, the guard rail prevents the vehicle running when it is going out of the road due to an accident, and absorbs the impact energy generated when the vehicle collides with the vehicle, thereby minimizing the damage of the accident. As shown in FIG.
These guard rails must have sufficient rigidity to prevent the vehicle from leaving the roadway in the event of a vehicle collision, and should be configured to absorb a significant portion of the impact energy in the event of a vehicle collision to minimize impact to the vehicle and driver.
1 shows a side view of a conventional guardrail.
The guard rail shown in Fig. 1 is the most general type of guard rail, and has a
In the case of the guard rail constructed as described above, when the vehicle collides with a position close to the support or the support, the support is fixed to the road so that a significant impact is transmitted to the vehicle and the driver.
In addition, since the guard panel is not bent easily due to its curved shape, a considerable impact at the time of a vehicle collision is inevitably transmitted to the vehicle and the driver.
On the other hand, Patent Document 1 discloses a structure of a guard rail in which an additional shock absorbing structure is formed between a strut and a guard panel in consideration of the problem of a conventional guardrail having insufficient buffering function.
The guard rail including the additional shock absorbing structure can be expected to mitigate the shock transmitted from the guard panel in the event of a vehicle collision by the shock absorbing structure formed between the guard panel and the support.
However, in case of an accident, the vehicle first impacts on the guard panel and receives a large impact, so that there is a problem that a sufficient effect can not be expected with the shock absorbing structure formed between the guard panel and the support.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a shock absorbing device that includes a preceding shock absorbing means for absorbing a substantial portion of impact energy while contacting a vehicle, Shock-absorbing guardrail.

In the shock absorbing guard rail according to the present invention constructed as described above, when the vehicle collision occurs, the
When the first and second shock absorbing actions by the
As described above, according to the guard rail of the present invention, since the
