Claims (12)
- 화소가 행렬 형상으로 배치되어 이루어지는 표시 에리어 내의 각각의 데이터선에 표시 신호를 기입하는 신호 기입 수단과,상기 신호 기입 수단에 의해 상기 각각의 데이터선에 표시 신호를 기입하기 전에, 액정에의 전압 비인가 시의 계조 레벨을 프리차지 신호 레벨로서 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하는 프리차지 수단을 포함하고,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 화소의 각각에 기입하는 표시 신호의 극성이 1필드 기간(1F) 주기로 반전하는 1F 반전 구동 모드에서는 프리차지 동작을 정지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 신호 기입 수단은 상기 표시 에리어 내의 동일 행에 있어서 인접하여 배열된 복수개의 화소를 단위로 하고, 이들 복수개의 화소에 대응하는 표시 신호를, 1수평 기간 내에 시계열로 순서대로 샘플링하여 상기 각각의 데이터선에 공급하고,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 신호 기입 수단이 샘플링을 행하기 전에 상기 프리차지 신호를 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 신호 기입 수단은 상기 표시 에리어 내의 행 단위의 화소에 대응하는 표시 신호를, 1수평 기간 내에 순차적으로 샘플링하여 상기 각각의 데이터선에 공급하고,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 신호 기입 수단이 샘플링을 행하기 전에 상기 프리차지 신호를 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 신호 기입 수단은 상기 표시 에리어 내의 행 단위의 화소에 대응하는 표시 신호를, 1수평 기간 내에 일괄적으로 샘플링하여 상기 각각의 데이터선에 공급하고,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 신호 기입 수단이 샘플링을 행하기 전에 상기 프리차지 신호를 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 계조 레벨은 상기 화소를 구성하는 액정 셀의 대향 전극에 공급하는 공통 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 계조 레벨은 상기 화소를 구성하는 액정 셀의 화소 전극에 일단이, 대향 전극에 타단이 각각 접속된 유지 용량의 상기 타단에 공급하는 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 표시 에리어의 일부분의 영역에 대해서만 표시 구동을 행하는 파셜 모드에 있어서의 비표시 영역 기간에서는 프리차지 동작을 정지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 프리차지 신호 대신에 외부로부터 주어지는 테스트용 신호를 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 화소가 행렬 형상으로 배치되어 이루어지는 표시 에리어 내의 각각의 데이터선에 표시 신호를 기입하기 전에, 액정에의 전압 비인가 시의 계조 레벨을 프리차지 신호 레벨로서 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하고,상기 화소의 각각에 기입하는 표시 신호의 극성이 1필드 기간(1F) 주기로 반전하는 1F 반전 구동 모드에서는 프리차지 동작을 정지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 출력 표시부를 포함하고, 상기 출력 표시부로서 액정 표시 장치를 이용한 휴대 단말기에 있어서,상기 액정 표시 장치는,화소가 행렬 형상으로 배치되어 이루어지는 표시 에리어 내의 각각의 데이터선에 표시 신호를 기입하는 신호 기입 수단과,상기 신호 기입 수단에 의해 상기 각각의 데이터선에 표시 신호를 기입하기 전에, 액정에의 전압 비인가 시의 계조 레벨을 프리차지 신호 레벨로서 상기 각각의 데이터선에 기입하는 프리차지 수단을 포함하고,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 화소의 각각에 기입하는 표시 신호의 극성이 1필드 기간(1F) 주기로 반전하는 1F 반전 구동 모드에서는 프리차지 동작을 정지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대 단말기.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 출력 표시부는 상기 표시 에리어의 일부분의 영역에 대해서만 표시 구동을 행하는 파셜 모드의 설정이 가능하고,상기 프리차지 수단은 상기 파셜 모드에 있어서의 비표시 영역 기간에서는 프리차지 동작을 정지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대 단말기.
